MrRomero (1934), Nolanville, Texas, USA Apr 9, 2008 16oz draft: poured light yellow, a little cloudy, perhaps chill haze, with a smallish white head due more to the pour than the beer itself. Mild hop aroma, grass. Flavor is quite nice. Slight bitterness, good carbonation, a touch of grapes and slight cardboard. Good beer enjoyed outside on the bar patio at a hotel. jabrewing (11), Denver, Colorado, USA Mar 27, 2008 Pours a nice straw color. Smells malty with a hint of spice. Smooth drinking and very thirst quinching. Great on draft in the right glass on a sunny day. renffisch (495), london, Greater London, England Mar 11, 2008 Draught pint at Biergasthof Schiffner in Aigen i.M. Goldem, with a creamy head. This is simply my favorite Pils of all times. And since i’m a bit biased i leave it at that. BabyJoe692 (109), Pickerington, Ohio, USA Mar 9, 2008 Draft. Pours very light yellow with a white head. Has a somewhat grassy aroma. Light easy drinker with a decent finish of noble hops. troopie (848), USA Mar 1, 2008 Bottle. Poured very pale yellow with a foamy white head. Little lacing. Aromatic grassy nose. Light malty body with a not unpleasant astringent finish. This is not really full nor bitter enough for a pilsener, but is a worthy helles. It’s low enow in alcohol to be a good session or after work bier. AleDrinker (1090), Sunnyvale, California, USA Feb 24, 2008 Very very pale and light rendition of a pils here. Call it Pils Urquell Light. Just take 12oz of Pils Urquell, add 12oz of seltzer water and this is what you get. Guinnessman (88), VACAVILLE, California, USA Feb 20, 2008 Had this one on tap in Salzburg, Austria. Nice light flavor. Goes down easy and really cleanses the palate. Golden color with the slightest bite on the after-taste. Perkeo (318), Portland, Oregon, USA Feb 10, 2008 12 oz. bottle. Very pale. decent white foam, shows good conditioning. Fresh pale sugar smack malt, medium to light bodied, clean bitterness and slight noble hop flavor. Fairly soft yet with a little twang o’ crispness. Better than the draft version I’ve tried.
