hellbilly (1492), scottsdale über alles, Arizona, USA Jan 21, 2008 draft @ papago... pale yellow color with a fluffy white head that leaves a bit of lacing . very fresh aroma of lemons, pale malt, grass and light yeasty spiciness. flavor is quite the same... light fruity lemon, floral and grassy hop dryness and some yeasty bitterness. slightly bitter crisp finish. thin to medium body with some creaminess developing in the texture. rayOfBeer (316), El Cerrito, California, USA Jan 18, 2008 Pours from tap and clear pale blonde with white foam head. Aromas of grass. The inital taste is smooth bitter-sweet malt followed by dry floral, grassy and lemony tartness, with a slight bittering at end. Very tasty with a meal. Easy to drink. redgold07 (308), Irving, Texas, USA Jan 14, 2008 Aroma is dry and yeasty and kind if acidic like white wine. Pours a very pale gold/yellow color with a HUGE white head. Very carbonated. Flavor is a little sweet, bitter, slightly lemon, alcohol, yeast, and water. From the Berkeley brewery.
12 oz bottle. gam (1059), brisbane, Australia Jan 7, 2008 Nice light yellow,it,s head was not lasting but fair lace cover, very smooth with good bitter taste,a beer with few notes but still a good finish, dry and some malty sweetness,a good session pilsener. heavy (805), Split, Croatia Jan 7, 2008 04/01 0.5 l green bottle from a Merkur in Graz. Planned this but missed it in Mariazell, so bought it now. Seems it’s quite scarce at the Austrian south. Poured pale yellow body with small head. Almost no aroma, only some malt could be noted. Bitterish flavor, bit malty, too, but nothing really inside. Finish is short, dry enough but at the moments even comes with metallic hints. One of those boring pilseners again, I expected so much more. Bov (5403), Bienne, Switzerland Dec 16, 2007 courtesy of Laurent Mousson - clear and bright pale golden yellow colour with a decent white stable foam; very herbal nose with buttery notes; medium-bodied, bitter herbal finish with some spicy touches - a very good pils Swalden28 (1439), McKinney, Texas, USA Dec 13, 2007 Updated: Aug 23, 2009Ok, I kinda like this one as long as the store "stores" it properly. I have a feeling it can not take much abuse from light in that damn green bottle. Anyway...this beer was pretty suprising to me. Nice color, decient head retention, pretty good aroma but you can tell it was made for the masses, the miller light drinker can appreciate this one thinking it’s the best beer he ever had. I think it is a little pricey but I have purchased it more then once due to limited selection at my store. But ofcoarse, I even purchased the Trumer glass, sooo...it’s a pretty good over priced beer. hombrepalo (726), Chicago, Illinois, USA Dec 13, 2007 Tap, served in a footed pilsner glass! Poued like many other pilsners, clear yellowish color with lots of head. Crisp taste, some distinct flavor with lots of carbonation. Slightly above avrage taste, with lingering flavor. It’s an pk beer!
