Bottled. Gold with white head lacy. Malt aroma. Flavor is sweet malt and balanced by dry hops. A floral taste also. Medium body.

Bottle 330ml. Very good pilsener. Aromas are citrusy and spicy. Taste is sweet, with lingering bitterness, and average duration. Palate is oily, with thin-to-medium body. Pale yellow, with a white frothy head.

My favorite pils. Nice and crisp. Almost get some fruit flavors in here. None of the metallic taste that I get from others in this style. Doesn’t dry out the tongue either. Good beer to have around for beer newbies.

Mmm, Spalty! 12oz in Czechvar glass at Toad in the Hole. Golden pilsy goodness with smallish head. Extraordinarily bright noble hops on the nose, bringing to mind such niceties as blueberries, bubblegum, and my 100% Spalt homebrewed Dortmunder. Malt profile is more restrained than your Boh pils standards (Czechvar, Urquell), but more apparent than, say, a Bitburger or Pacifico. I was taken by Trumer from the first time I had one (draft at Hemlock Tavern, SF), and it lives up to the bullshit in my mind’s eye every time hence.

Bottle. Pours a pale gold body with a white head. Grain and some light metallic notes. A light earth y bitterness and some light citrus. Eh.

Light yellow color with a fizzy white head. Cereal grain and malt aroma and taste with a clean and reasonably crisp finish and a nicely carbonated palate.
