Draft at Cooper’s. Pours a sparkling gold with sheets and sheets of churning tiny bubbles. Nice thick fluffy platinum blonde suds up top. No nose. Little lace. Very little body or mid-palate; maybe a bit of fizz on the attack. Not much of a beerl even the hoped-for saazy finish isn’t much. Zzzzzzz.

Draft at O’Brien’s. Not much aroma on this bright, clear yellow very fizzy beer. Nice white head though. Some malty, bready aromas. Flavor was pretty refreshing. Touches of citrus and more bready flavors. Just OK

Had this on draft at the Grand Hyatt in San Francisco so assume that this came from the Berkeley, CA brewery. Came a clear gold with a small white head. Nose of light hops. The mouthfeel was clean, and flavors were of light malts and hops. This indeed tastes just like an average German Pilsener.

Bottle. Nice clear gold color with a very nice white, fluffy head. Slight whiff of skunk but, it lasted only briefly. Nice clean taste. A pretty decent German pilsner.

Straw yellow, typical pils appearance with small fizzy head. However, the flavor was a nice biting hopped refresher. Great lawnmower brew for summer!
