Nice thick fluffy platinum blonde suds up top. No nose. Little lace. Very little body or mid-palate; maybe a bit of fizz on the attack. Not much of a beerl even the hoped-for saazy finish isn’t much. | 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 11, 2007 Updated: Jun 16, 2007Had this on draft at the Grand Hyatt in San Francisco so assume that this came from the Berkeley, CA brewery. Came a clear gold with a small white head. Nose of light hops. The mouthfeel was clean, and flavors were of light malts and hops. This indeed tastes just like an average German Pilsener. pojo41 (315), Hattiesburg, Mississippi, USA
