mephisto (1144), Taiwan Jan 22, 2007 draft. clear golden with thick white head, the aroma is slightly citrusy with hint of malt. clear and finishes bitter. murrayswine (101), Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin, USA Jan 18, 2007 This is the sprite of Pilsners.
THe pour is indicative of a pils with a good light gold color and a quick form and receding head.
The smell is crisp hops, a little bitter root, and thats about it.
The taste is smooth and slightly hopped, but thatskind of where it ends, it is rather unimpressive. I dont ge tmuch from this.
The mouthfeel is exactly like sprite. Quite, bubbly, slightly smooth, but in the end, just light enough to be kind of refreshing. troyc (1173), Lubbock, Texas, USA Jan 17, 2007 (Tap) Pours golden with a small amount of haze. The head is large and lasting. Light palate, but about what I expected. Balanced as well. Nice and malty, but a little grassy as well. I do like this beer much better from the tap, so this rating reflects that. BelgianBeerGal (1277), Sabbatical in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA Jan 16, 2007 Draft at Hotel Innsbruck bar. Fairly good representation of the pils class. Very comparable to other European pils but with a light, crisp taste. homersimpsin (40), South Melbourne, Australia Jan 2, 2007 Excellent beer, fresh clean light crisp taste, i could drink these all day!
If you like Heineken or Coronas you will LOVE Trumer Pils! Airlifter (116), Shawnee, Kansas, USA Dec 21, 2006 Very pale golden color with a thin white head. Strong skunky aroma. Metallic, grassy flavor with a malty finish. Well carbonated. Not bad if you can get past the skunky smell. LtJudge (431), Muskego, Wisconsin, USA Nov 6, 2006 Had on tap- Poured a nice golden yellow with a white head. Had the grassy/bready aroma of a Pils.Taste was very crisp and clean, and a dry finish. Not Bad!! swanmann (304), Norman, Oklahoma, USA Oct 29, 2006 The bottle poured clear, light straw color, with a slight tint of green. The half inch white head quickly disspated but held a thin head. Mild aroma of lemons, grass and yeast. The flavor is lighlty peppery, as a pils, with yeast in the foreground and well balanced hops. Like an upgraded PBR out of a bottle. Very drinkable.
