3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 17thfloor (2265) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - AUG 16, 2008
Pours light golden with lots of tiny bubbles and a huge airy white suds on top. Well balance noble hop and bready malt aroma. Pretty dry stuff, light breadiness, mellow but still flavorful noble hops. No skunk at all! Has really nice balance, very clean. Lightly crisp, with fine sparkling carbonation. For a "lighter" flavored beer this stuff is damn drinkable. As it is light... avoid drinking below 45F and it goes fantastic with Italian food.
3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Pershing (273) - Garland, Texas, USA - AUG 15, 2008
Yellow clear with a fair amount of carbonation that creates a nice white head. Crisp clean taste, one of the better U.S. brewed Pilsners available. The matching glassware for this beer could be improved to match a true pilsner style.
0.8 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 1/20 Crosling (1861) - Loveland, Colorado, USA - AUG 12, 2008
Clear golden colored beer, very light in color with a fairly well lasting white head. Nose doesn’t have a lot of character...a little bit of light malts, maybe some hop. Flavor doesn’t have much character at all and is awfully hard to drink. Ummm, this is so far from being a decent German Pils. Not even close.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20 Foxbush (704) - Richmond, Virginia, USA - AUG 3, 2008
This was a delicious Pils enjoyed on the rooftop at George’s on the Cove in La Jolla. This was a special meal enjoyed with the Pacific to your left and the cove below you. This was poured from the tap. The head was smallish and the color clear and srawlike. The malt flavors were balanced and clear finish.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 SamGamgee (2451) - down the whirlpool, California, USA - AUG 2, 2008
Draught. Clear gold with a small, yet appropriately fluffy and stable white head. Grassy and slightly doughy aroma. The flavor is a little thin in the malt department, with just enough to carry the grassy and decently bitter hop flavor. Light bodied, not too carbonated, and finishes a little watery. The hops bring a slight bitter citrus, but the malts aren’t really sweet enough to bring it out. Decent pils, and I’m sure it benefited from being brewed only a half hour up 880.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 rlgk (5238) - Skövde, SWEDEN - AUG 1, 2008
Draught. Pale golden, white head. Bready and metallic aroma. Hoppy grassy spicy flavor with some sweeter notes. Well balanced pilsener.
