2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Fra fat på k.u.k. Hofwirt i Bad Ischel 7 Mai 14. Veldig lys gylden. Lavt luftig skum med litt lacing. Forsiktig maltaroma. Smaken er tørr. Klart maltpreg med en undertone av humle. Litt søt.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
medium to pale yellow with a frothy, lacy, diminishing head. Smells of grain, malt, vegetable and light hops. Medium oily body with medium carbonation. Tastes of sweet malt, with cardboard and a strong hoppy bitterness finishes it all off. Whatever it’s a pils

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Keg at Rock’N’Fish, Laguna Beach, 17/04/14.
Clear pale golden with a good sized white covering that stays for the show.
Nose is straw, pale malt, light citrics, lemon rind.
Taste follows with light perfumed tones, vanilla, hint of hops, light spice.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, crisp close.
Ok drinkable pils, not particularly true to style, a little too sweet and hoppy.
Wonder if the US arm of Trumer is brewing to a different, US inspired, recipe ?

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
12 oz. bottle from Wilbur’s. Appearance: finger of white head that quickly diminishes to a film, pale straw color, light cloudy, Aroma: molasses, light resin, floral, leaves.Palate: light body, sparkling carbonation, astringent bitter finish that lasts a bit, sparkling texture. Taste: nice sweetness to start it off, but astringency and hoppy bitterness take over quickly and do not relent. Overall, balance is off, but it is unique and pretty drinkable.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Crisp, clear and light straw golden in colour with a good frothy white head. Lightly CO2 carbonated it offers on the nose aromas of hay, barnyard and floral hops. The taste offers flavours of light sweetness with some bitter traces all in a pretty harmonic way. The texture is lightly slick and refreshing building a light faint almond flavour note. Well balanced lightly dry finish.
