3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: SEP 26, 2005 This is from the US brewery in Berkley
Pours a brilliantly clear straw-gold color with a pale off white head that is held up by a moderate, persistent carbonation. The aroma is clean and spicy with a light herbal note that is all quite appetizing. The beer is smooth and clean as it first hits my mouth. It is fairly dry with a light toasted malt note, though the hops definitely are the major flavor contributor. The beer is quite floral and spicy. This is definitely a nice example of a dry German Pils, though it has a bit more fresh hop flavor than usual, which is just fine in my book. This is light, easy drinking, and full of bright refreshing hop flavors.

2.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Very spicy hops with a slightly vegetal, grainy malt aroma. Clear, pale golden coloured body is topped with a low, white, fully diminishing head. Grainy, vegetal malts with a lightly spicy hop finish and light bitterness. Light body with fairly lively, pointy carbonation. Bottle sampled at GBBF 2005.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Can’t really get excited about pilseners, but I guess I should try and be unbiased. Pours a pale straw colour, with a tiny and short-lasting head. The aroma was basic pils - grassy hops and maybe some lemon. The flavour was not bad - finished bitter and the aftertaste was pleasing. Pretty thin palate, though, but it is a pilsener afterall....

2.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle. Sour malt aroma - slightly skunky. Light golden yellow with little head. Tart-sour creamy malt flavor. Moderate body. Very light for the style - one of my least favorite German style pilseners.

2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20
No head, no lacing ,highly carbonated, citrussy aroma, I thought I picked up a little maltiness, with heavy hop flavor. It comes across like a Heineken till you swallow with a grapefruit like finish (heavy cascade hops perhaps ?)
