On tap. I like how they try to distract you with the flute glass - "light". Yellow pour with light, fluffy white head. Clean taste, pils hops and a touch of malt - thankfully without any corn - and dry finish. OK.

UPDATED: MAR 11, 2007 The beer that’s taking over the world. Deep, golden-straw color. Moderate hop aroma. Big malty backbone, but balanced nicely. Dry finish. Not much to say -- except it is better on draft than from a bottle and fresh from the brewery, it can be an enjoyale experience. Not a czech pils, but definitely drinkable.

Not sure what some of these other "pilsner experts" have been drinking but Trumer Pils is the best example of a German-style Pilsner(much different from a Czech style) I have ever tasted. Properly hopped with a nice dry "bite"...just the way it should be. The maltiness balances well - carbonation was superior. My only complaint is the green glass - i guess old habits die hard.

DuffMan (7845) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - JAN 3, 2006
Pale yellow, moderate foamy head, no lace. Metallic aroma, a little sour. Bland grainy palate, very little hop character to speak of. I wouldn’t buy this again.

Stew41 (1796) - Woodend, AUSTRALIA - DEC 22, 2005
UPDATED: MAY 28, 2009 Light gold in colour. No head to speak of. Dull aroma; grainy, old fashion malts. Bland flavours in the mouth, some dull malt flavour but it progressively builds body and weight. Finishes reasonably sharp with some bitter hops. Good summer arvo quaffer at best. (2.4)

Re-Rate October 2006
Standard visual treatment, big fizzy head early, dissipates quickly to leave a very thin, slightly creamy frothy cover. Lager like nose, fairly boring, slightly citrus, but not much else. Very boring taste profile, drinks like a Miller or Corona, just nothing happening. Fizzy, a bit more citrus and a hint of vanilla, but essentially very bland. As bad as it was looking 12 months ago (and in fact scores indicate much worse).

light golden color small white well laced head. Weak grain aroma tiny grass hop. Carbonated palate w/ some ok coating. Tastes of grain some bland sweetness very weak.

Draught at Carolina Ale House in Durham, NC. Clear golden color with bubbly white head that laced the glass. Skunky hop nose typical of light European lagers ala Grolsch and Heineken. The skunky hops come out again in the flavor and are well a balanced with the dry malty flavor. Crisp finish. Not a bad beer.

chriso (7482) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 8, 2005
Bottle, GBBF, August 2005. A serviceable, but lightweight German style pilsner. Vary pale straw colour - a bit anaemic looking. Faint aroma of grassy hop, with a touch of sulphur. Lean mouthfeel, with limited flavour. Some light, late hops. Not much to latch on to here.
