nate2g (1034), Brisbane, Australia Jan 3, 2009 Pours a straw colour with a lasting white head. Grainy and mild fruit hop aromas. Weak flavour of sweet malt and hop bitterness. Light bodied and highly carbonated. BlackForestCO (819), Fort Collins, Colorado, USA Dec 31, 2008 Bottle. Poured a clear yellow color with rising bubbles and a thick white head that slowly receded, leaving good lacing. Aroma of pilsner malt, bread, some earthy straw, and a light hoppiness. Smooth, crisp entry with some light breadiness and a hint of cracker that leads into a clean, light yeastiness with some undertones of soft fruit rinds and a subtle hoppiness. Lively carbonation, smooth, and easy to drink. A shame this is bottle in green bottles, because it is a decent beer when not skunked. JoetheAmatuer (2), , New Mexico, USA does not count Dec 30, 2008 i liked it, but hey i’m an amatuer! The appearance was nothing special but poured nicely into a glass. i really like the flavor. Had a smooth light taste and not much aftertaste. Nik925 (300), California, USA Dec 28, 2008 Nutty. Crisp mild hop flavor with muted lager metal notes. Nothing too amazing, but well executed. KimJohansen (6678), Copenhagen V, Denmark Dec 25, 2008 Clear golden with medium white head. Sweet malty aroma wiht caramel notes. Flavour likewise with a sweet finish. pivnizub (4953), Bochum, Porúří, Germany Dec 24, 2008 Bottle. Golden, lazy carbonation, quite stable foamy white layer. Pale-malty, a bit bready, too, nose with shy herbal hops underneath. Moderate dry bitter flavour, light bodied, soft MF. Dry aromatic-hoppy finish. Fine example..... BrandonB (87), Denton, Texas, USA Dec 22, 2008 Bottle. clear yellow pour with a quickly dieing white head. Grassy, citrusy aroma that seems ok, but tastes horrid. Must have been a bad bottle. Skunky flavor. Slayer85 (582), Firenze, Italy Dec 8, 2008 Bottle. A clear pale blonde beer, with a medium sized and disappearing white head. Enough hoppy nose for an Austrian Pils. Apart the grassy notes, there is also some bready malt. The flavour starts with a medium sweetness, then there are some grassy hops. soft mouthfeel, light to medium body, lively carbonation, dry and quite short finish with medium bitterness. An average beer, not the most refined in this style.
