Enjoyed with friends at the Globe Pub in Chicago, IL. Appearance in a beaker like glass, clear golden with no head. Aroma like a traditional German lager. Taste crisp with a light hop backing, an easy drinker, pretty good.

Clear golden with a small white head, and the green bottle does nothing for the appearance. Aroma of bread, hay, some grassy hops and detergent. Taste is clean and a little sweet with a slight hop background. Body is thin as expected, but not watery. Decent pilsner taste, not bad at all. Finishes slightly dry.

Clean, crisp Euro lager that goes down well at the end of a hot day after spending the afternoon digging in the backyard. Not much to really say about the beer, its good, but very similar to Carlsberg or Grolsch or even Heineken.

Pint draft at Twisted Spoke (Chicago, IL) while waiting and picking up another 15th Anniversary beer. Pours a nice golden straw hue, ligher, great carbonation, no real haze, with a prominent bright white head atop. Laces ok, moderate sized and a bit cakey. Aromas are a bit lighter crisp cereal grain bread and touches of grassy and floral hops, a bit vague but there. Crackers, bread, touches of florals move in with a faint spiciness. Initial is really nice, very grassy with a decent bitterness, soap and touches of florals, bread and crackers, light to decent bitterness. Crisp and clean with some soap, a faint spiciness and lively carbonation that subsides to an easy drinker summer pils, not very intense but that flavors are pleasant. Touches of lavendar, grass, grainy malts let the hops do their thing. Not powerful, but refreshing and a bit perfumey on the palate if that makes sense. A touch of grape, very clean though. An ok Pils, albeit a bit bland

UPDATED: JAN 12, 2011 Aroma is malty hops. Very clean. Appearance is golden yellow, crystal clear. One finger white head, nicely carbonated. Taste is hops forward. Maybe a little more towards bittering hops than aroma. Not an overly bitter beer though. Malt is present but well behind hops. Palate is clean light and crisp. Overall a decent pils. Very clean and crisp flavor but the hops and malt are lacking for my taste.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a thin, short lived, white head, over a clear yellow (SRM 4) body....nose is grass, cereal (Grapenuts), light spice.....taste is light bread, light hop bitterness....mouth feel is light, carbonation high. This meets the style quite well, although I would prefer a little more hop presence in both the aroma and flavors. BJCP 6/3/12/4/6

Bottle. Pale straw golden colored with a half-inch of head that quickly dissolves. The aroma is classic Pilsener with lots of dry hops and sweet cereal malt. The flavor is grassy hops and cereal malt with a little bit of honey sweetness at the end. The mouthfeel is very crisp and dry with heavy carbonation and a clean finish. Easy drinking and refreshing with a very balanced overall flavor.

Draft, pours clear yellow gold with white head. Nose is floral and grassy with earthy hay notes. Flavor is same, clean and crisp dry finish, pretty good even though it suffers some freshness from the overseas journey.
