3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
10 oz draft pour at the Brewery in Denver, Colorado. The pour is dark brown, black with a 1/2 tan head. The aroma is dark chocolate nutty malt sweetness, along with resin and dank hops. Fresh and clean, interesting combination of aromas. The taste is a combination of the dark bitter chocolate of the nose, along with some roast that wasn’t evident in the nose, and then the bitter resin hops. As with the nose, the flavor is fresh and clean. The palate is light to medium bodied, natural carbonation and the resin hop carries the dry finish, along with some mineral. I liked this one., unique.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Dark brown, nearly black, with a light beige head. Neat nose of nutty toffee, just a touch of cocoa, with a great earthy and dank hop presence that really isn’t piney or citrusy. Oh Falconer’s Flight--such a unique hop. Flavor is light bodied and slightly under carbonated, with a nutty and light roasty malt background alongside some earthy and leafy/grassy hop bitterness. Though the body is kinda light, the flavor is all there.
