3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Hazy gold under a thin foamy white head. Aroma is kinda funky and lactic with damp cereal grain tones and a little hoppy grassy pollen. Flavor is semi-sweet with a little lactic sourness the start, not tart at all but just a wee funky, with a hay and pale grain malt backbone, buttressed by a little sharp grassy bitterness and earthy pollen. Slightly dusty yeast tone.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
UPDATED: SEP 25, 2013 Pint at the brewery. Pours cloudy goldish, I think in the dim light. Aroma is tart, lemony, grassy with a subtle burgamont undertone. The flavor reminds me of a berlinerweisse but with a husky, herbal kick, due to the addition of tea I?m sure. Very balanced, complex lighter flavor profile ranging from lemons, crackers, black tea, peach. It?s really nice, different and quite drinkable.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at the brewery. Pour is hazy yellow with a small white head that quickly dissipated. Funky, earthy, slightly citrusy, biscuity, straw, and crackery aroma. Taste is slightly tart lemon, lacto, huge wheat, bready, grainy lightly grassy, and straw with a lingering wheat/malty aftertaste. Light body with almost no carbonation. Kind of boring and could really benefit from more of a spice element.
