On tap at Trve poured a clear gold with a smnall lasting ivory head. Aromas of straw, light citrus and light fruittiness. Palate was light bodied and crisp with as smooith dry finish. Flavors of straw, vanilla and citrus with a smooth dry lingering citrus finish.

UPDATED: FEB 18, 2014 Sweet, estery, resinous pale ale that disappointingly shows no sign of its small stature. Burnt nuts, leafy vegetables, skin sweat, oily acidic texture. Pretty careless. Goop chews and resin and grapefruit.

On tap at TRVE. Dark gold and clear with a diminishing white head. Pretty mild aroma, pale malts, light bitter hops and floral notes. Similar flavor, pilsener malty, with a crisp, clean feel and a light body. Decent and sessionable.

On tap at brewpub. Says its above 4%. Aroma is very rich and malty with a Munich character along with toasted bread and light caramel. Fairly clean ester and phenolic profile with malt dominating. No real hop aroma. Pours a clear copper color with a thin white head that lingers on the edges. Moderately high lacing. Flavor is also fairly rich and malty with toasted bread and light caramel. Slight nuttiness. Low bitterness and no hop flavor. Mouthfeel is light bodied but not watery with medium low carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall an alright beer, but there really isnít anything amazing about it. Clean and easy drinking but it leaves me wanting to try another beer. Inoffensive, but I like offensive beer.

On tap @ TRVE. Pours clear orange in color with a white head. Super buttery. Dough, popcorn, sweet toast and biscuit malts. Just sweet and grainy. Meh. Flavor is butter, dough, and toast. Biscuit, grass, and grain. A touch of apple juice. Really just too much butter. Scroll past.

Tap @ Trve. Pours a clear dark orange appearance with a thin cream head. Thick, doughy, bready aroma. Light veggie, heavy grainy doughy flavor. Pass.

On tap at the brewery. Pour is clear orange with a frothy white head and great lacing. Huge malty, bready, earthy, lightly floral, and husky aroma. Taste is cardboard, malt-heavy, light grapefruit and spice notes, straw, and husky with almost no bitterness. Light body with medium carbonation. Meh.

10 oz. at the brewery. I want to argue the American pale ale nomenclature, but not sure what is more appropriate. It lacks the citrus or pine, rather has a more European hoppiness to it. The yeast and malt profile is very American though. Light caramel hints and a gentle fruitiness are in the flavor. The finish is a tad meaty. Itís a super clean and balanced session beer. Not exciting, but great for this 95 degree weather.

Sampled at the brewery. Pours amber with a lacy head. Aroma of Pale and caramel malts, a little oats, and some floral hops. Flavor the same. Average texture. Not a bad beer. Metal playing in the background makes it better.
