Hollow Idol is an India White Ale brewed entirely with New Zealand hops. Bright and crisp with flavors and aromas of lime, cherries, and mango, this beer is going to be a great way to celebrate our upcoming harvest by way of ingredients recently harvested half a world away.

On tap at Trve poured a clear gold with a small lasting white head. Aromas of straw, yeast, earthiness, grapefruit and light pine. Palate was light bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of straw, earthiness, grapefruit, light yeast and light pine with a smooth dry lingering citrus finish.

On tap at the brewery. Pour is honey orange with a big white head and great lacing. Big tropical fruits in the aroma, tangerine, kiwi, pineapple, and grapefruit peel. Taste is much the same, heavy hops, citrus, orange, bread, light spice, and bitter fruit peel ending heavy bitter. Medium mouthfeel with high carbonation. Pretty tasty.

Wow, this is the most top notch beer I’ve had from Trve so far. Poured a hazy gold with a lingering fluffy white head with long legs. Aroma full of rich fruit like apricots cherries and oranges rounded out with yeast and biscuit. Fruit and biscuit flavors with a slight touch of floral hops. Round full mouthfeel and nice viscosity. A little coriander, clove on the back end with a nice berry finish. Outstanding.

Tap @ brewery. Fairly clear, dark yellow appearance with a fluffy white head. Somewhat herbal spicy, lightly floral, mango/lemon citrusy aroma. A bit tangy, lightly chewy malty, biscuity, orange/lemon/tropical fruity flavor. Not bad.

Hazy light golden with a bone-white head that starts off big and fluffy and manages to stay around a long while. Nice citrusy nose of orange peel and lemon zest with some enticing grassy hop notes and just a whiff of coriander. Taste is pretty floral and citrusy with a nice backbone of grassy bitterness, citrus peel, coriander, dusty belgian yeastiness, mellow wheat, and finishing on a quietly bitter tone of grassy floral hops and just a touch more coriander. Lovely.
