Slightly cloudy straw yellow. Nose is pretty subdued, but some light wheat and brine. Thin mouthfeel, very light lemon, quite salty brine, light smokiness on the finish. Alright, but doesnít do it for me.

Tap at brewery. Pours a golden, pale lager yellow color. Aroma is slightly sweet, slightly tart almost a salty Apple cider aroma. Taste is a good salty, sweet mixture with tart Apple notes, sea air, salt. Finishes slightly dry. Palate is light body, high carb. Refreshing!! My second favorite gose other than Westbrooks.

On tap at Trve poured a hazy yellow with a small lingering white head. Aromas of wheat, yeast, salt, light citrus, light coriander and a hint of smoke. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of wheat, salt, yeast, citrus, light coriander and light smoke with a smooth lingering salty citrus finish.

On tap at Trve. Pours a clear gold with a white ring. Tart aroma, of underripe fruits, yeast, grass, spices. Taste is crisp and sour, of grapefruit, yeast, grass, coriander, with the salt coming through just enough. Lingering yeasty sourness. Interesting, works pretty well.

12 oz at the brewery. Pours a hazy yellow with a small ring of a white head and solid lacing. The aroma is clean with plenty of assertive wheat and subtle tropical notes, earthiness and lemon. The palate is smooth. They nailed the salt on this one, itís there enough to be easily noticed but does not overwhelm. There are flavors of lemon, earthy hops, leather, wheat and the finish is salty and refreshing. Very clean, very balanced and highly drinkable. Itís not overly complicated, but serves as a fantastic session beer providing a departure from the norm.

Tap at the.brewery - first, this should totally be listed as a gose - lightly hazy clear gold - soapy lace - subdued nose of light salt, tangy wheat - flavor is quite salty, almost briny on the approach - light smokiness after that - finish is lightly herbal and lightly bitter - simple - not bad, but lacks the complexity of many better examples of the style.

Unclear medium yellow colour with a small to average, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, wheat, pale malt, light citrus, moderate yeasty, yeast, light salty water, light coriander. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet and light light acidic with a long duration, spicy - coriander, yeast, minerals, light salty. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. IMO. a Gose. [20121128]
