Amazing little bottle conditioned winner here! Aroma is citrusy, grape fruit seriously peachy. Taste is down the same path, bitter dry, really hoppy though the pale malts do come through eventually.

On tap at the Red Squirrel.
Appearance - golden with a nice head.
Nose - screaming citrus particularly grapefruit.
Taste - grapefruit confirmed with just a hint of pale malt in rhe background.
Palate - light to medium bodied with a long refreshing finish.
Overall - what a palate cleanser. That would take the taste of doner kebabs away.

Bottle conditioned ale very nice to sup in the evening. Strong and excitable flavours. Clean palette and after taste. Slight cloudiness due to sediment but scored highly due to clean crisp taste.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Cask handpull, The Hillsborough Hotel, Sheffield. Still orange-gold, slim white top. Lace freckles. Nice picture of a badger on the pump. Lime juice, dishcloth and mango aroma. Bright and dank with good resinous citrus, strange mango-mushroom earthiness. Total change of gear; might have slated it if I hadn’t had a mango yesterday. The line is that fine sometimes. Possibly in the top 10 beers of the day- that good.

Bottle courtesy of my dad consumed with dad 14th Dec 2011 Pours golden with a white head. There is a mouldering overipeness that you notice from clementines and satsumas that have been sat in the fruit basket to long. Nice biting bitterness and furry across the tongue. pleasant beer.
