Bottle courtesy of and shared with my dad at home, cheers dad consumed 08.12.11 Pours a slightly hazy rusty gold colour but actually the clarity is better than I am suggesting. Some sweetened and preserved lemons, in fact it is a touch sweet but this isn’t anyway negative, some marmalade flavours. Nicely bitter in the mouth, its is a lovely beer. A6 A4 A8 P3 Ov15 3.6

Bottle from Deeside Drink Emporium, Banchory. It pours cloudy orange, with a decent foamy white head. The nose is tangerine, orange, fresh pine and orange squash. The taste is sweet orange, tangerine, pine, resin, orange squash, leather and dryness, with a big bitter finish. Medium body, fine carbonation and slightly sticky mouth-feel. Good stuff!

Cask @ GBBF 2011. Pours a hazy golden orange color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty hoppy bitter citrus aroma. Fruity malty hoppy bitter citrus flavor. Has a fruity malty hoppy bitter finish.

Bottle from Dantheman, thanks! Orange color, cloudy. Pineapple, peach and lemon in the aroma. Citric yeasty flavor with floral hops. Yeasty soft citrus finish. Interesting ale.

Cask at GBBF 2011, Day 3. Pours a light, hazy gold with a mild, foam head. Light grass aroma, some toast. Medium sweet flavor, slight honey and bread. Nice. Mild warming finish. Some bitter earth. Good balance.

Cask (GBBF2011, Thursday)
Super fruity peachy ara, bags of hops there. Touch of grains too backing that up. Very solid English IPA. A great malty body, and those lovely fruity hops never even think of taking second stage. Massive, and great. Looks like it really came on on the Thursday from the Wednesday reviews. (And I didn’t notice any cloudiness, so perhaps others had it a bit grungy.)

Bottled. Cloudy golden,rich lively head. Pungent citric nose. Medium bodied with rounded mouthfeel. Richly hoppy with grass and bitter orange. Marked resiny bitterness. Nice!

Cask at Battersea Beer Festival, 9th Feb 2011. Golden amber with a line of head. Firm palate. Bubblegum nose. Decent citrus flavour.
