gravicask @ kingston 08. convinced them to put it on with a haze warning. even though it didn’t drop quite alright this was a far to good beer not to be drunk, and i have to say all the guys who tried it after me agreed. beautiful floral spicy citric aroma. excellently crafted, well made hoppy beer. grapefruit, freshly cut grass, pepper and loads of fresh hops. lovely...

Cask handpull at The Rake, London. It always worries me when I see an American themed name, because it normally means some US hops have been waved vaguely in the direction of the beer. Plus, if it does have the hops, the 4% means it is unlikely to hve the malt base to support it. The latter is the case with this one. Bit of a hazy gold. Very green hop. Lots of yellow grapefruity aroma and flavour, almost peppery hop. Bit plasticky. Good hop. Poor everything else.
