Bottle. A skunky aroma when opened. The taste is a bit skunky, but typical of a pale lager. I much prefer the original Tsingtao over this beer.

Very Very Very Very Very Very Very light!!! However, it did really quench the thirst after some spicy Chinese dishes and the hot, sweaty Shanghai heat

Not a bad pale lager. A bit skunky but quite light flavor. Grassy hops, not too much there.

Pale golden, white head. Very fresh aroma, light pale malt and a grassy hop aroma. Fairly sweet and worty but quite clean nonetheless. Crisp finish with low bitterness. Bland and forgettable.

Pale Yellow pour from the 22 oz bottle. Just a little skunk flavor and aroma. Guess I should consider myself lucky considering the green bottle. Some lemony flavors, but not enough to actually make it good.

Pours pale golden w/ a meium sized, spritzy froth. Hang time is minimal and so is the residual lacing. Aroma of skunked malts. Light nectar w/ ample residual effers. It’s clean and crisp w/ no offensive flavors. Good balance. The finish is bittered nicely.

A great light pilsner with a slightly sweet malty taste. Much better than regular Tsingtao. This stuff is great very cold, and gets worse as it warms. You can’t expect crafted beer or anything but a light pilsner or you will be disappointed. Very good for what it is.

no faults other than it is simply beer flavored water. very pale, some head, thin, didn’t finish it. Had it at the TsingTao pub 2365 Sichuan Beilu.

Bottle. Head is initially small, fizzy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is clear medium yellow. Aroma is lightly malt (toasted grain/cereal), lightly hoppy (herbs), with a light note of DMS. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately bitter, slightly husky. Light to medium body, watery texture, fizzy carbonation. As pale lagers go, drinkable.

From a embossed 11.2 oz. green bottle with no freshness date. Poured a clear golden with a small foamy white head that settled into a fine lacing. Had a nose of old grass, spicy hops and a light sweet graininess. Medium carbonation and a softly crisp, dryish, smooth light bodied mouthfeel. Tastes of grass and spicy hops, solvent-like alcohol that mixes with a sweet, subtle dry crackerish malts. I like pale lagers, even some macro lagers, but I didn’t find much to recommend this, very bland tasting.
