500ml can - thanks Ares!
Sake hints in the utterly bland aroma. I know why - this is made from rice. Watery and fizzy like soda water. Incredibly bland, and fizzes in the mouth like a soda too. Finish is ricey and soda watery. Incredibly pale and fizzy. Papery once the fizz goes down. Not good.

Bottle @ home. Incredibly light yellow and very clear appearance with a tiny white head. Skunky aroma, even from several feet away made up of some light pale malts. Body is incredibly light pale malty and very watery. Some skunkiness and even more devoid of flavor than most American light beers. Crap.

330 mL. Pours typical pale lager- short lived head, no lacing, blah blah. Aroma is sweet corn, rice, some light pineapple. The description is classic: water from China’s "old mountain" mountains. Tastes a little better than say Heineken with less chemical and grainy tastes and more fruitiness. Not bad.

Pale golden, white head. Very fresh aroma, light pale malt and a grassy hop aroma. Fairly sweet and worty but quite clean nonetheless. Crisp finish with low bitterness. Bland and forgettable.

Marginal in every way. Grassy hops with a bit of citrus. Pours with a fizzy white heead over a yellow body. Decent retention. Tastes like rice, but decently drinkable. Watery mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Not horrible.

Can. Low fluffy white and quickly disappearing head. Clear light yellow body. Mild corn malt grass marcipan aroma. Malt corn grass flavor with a fair amount of hops bitterness. A bit watery though. Heavily carbonated. Short aftertaste.

Pale clear straw yellow, crispy grains, lightly hopped, clean finish. No complaints when you know what you’ve signed up for.

UPDATED: DEC 30, 2013 Bottle. Clear pale yellow pour, small white head. Nose is a bit skunky. Thin palate. Just another bad grainy lager.

Bottle. Head is initially small, fizzy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is clear medium yellow. Aroma is lightly malt (toasted grain/cereal), lightly hoppy (herbs), with a light note of DMS. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately bitter, slightly husky. Light to medium body, watery texture, fizzy carbonation. As pale lagers go, drinkable.
