Bottle. Head is initially small, fizzy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is clear medium yellow. Aroma is lightly malt (toasted grain/cereal), lightly hoppy (herbs), with a light note of DMS. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately bitter, slightly husky. Light to medium body, watery texture, fizzy carbonation. As pale lagers go, drinkable.

"a slightly thinner, fizzier and skunkier version of Tsingtao. Didn’t even go well with chinese food. I’ll pass from now on, this is chinese macro lager at it’s worst."

The beer pours a light clear yellow color with a white head. The aroma is exactly what I expected from an imported beer in a green bottle: skunked grain and nothing else. I am holding it against the brewer in my rating since it was their choice to use a green bottle. The flavor has some light skunk notes as well as some grass and grain. Thin mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

Jacksonville, Fl. - Total Wine - 11.2 oz bottle. Pours a sparkling light golden with almost no head. Grainy aroma with hints of honey. Flavor has a sweet bent to it with some honey, some kids cereal - not altogether unappealing. Finishes with a bit of a grassy back end. Mouthfeel is on the thin side. Overall, though, thirst quenching and hit the spot after a long drive on a hot day.

UPDATED: AUG 4, 2010 12 oz bottle split with pwn3d. I thought this was better than the original despite the rating, and lower alcohol. The body is very clear yellow. The aroma is really nothing at all. The taste is pretty smooth, nothing really offensive.

(330ml bottle thanks to the ever-reliable pale lager provider, Fratto) clear pale yellow with soapy white bubbles. Nose is stinky, skunky, and some toasty grain. Taste of old grain, paper, skunky, and just bad. Grainy linger.

This looks like most of the BMC fizzy yellow brews, pale yellow with a smallish head. After the initial skunk wafts away, there’s a very light sweet malt aroma. No hops. (No lead either, I hope.) Light and highly carbonated, it has a damp bread flavor with a mild sugary sweetness and a soft bitterness that turns somewhat sour in the finish. Once was enough.

Bottle. A skunky aroma when opened. The taste is a bit skunky, but typical of a pale lager. I much prefer the original Tsingtao over this beer.
