Looks like a pale lager, no tricks here. Malt and straw in the nose. Tastes a bit sweetish, with some slight hoppy bitterness, but just too little.

Mild and sweetish aroma. Taste is mild and malty with notes of grain, rice, yeast and some fruits. Slightly unpleasant metallic notes at the finish. Drinkable but didn’t impress me much. (500ml can from a Wellcome supermarket in Hong Kong)

It’s just a typical mass produced bright lager, with not much of aroma and taste. It’s very light and refreshing. I would say that it’s like that because of the rice which is added to this beer.

Take out any (poor) taste from the traditional Tsing Tao and you get this. Dull, plain, tasteless, pale golden, little sweet. Stop producing it, please!
