3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Light brown colour. Slightly fruity, slightly coffeeish aroma with that metallic note characteristic of the lamer macro darks. Thick body. Has a burnt fruit character like an impy. Long finish is chocolatey, raisiny and with light alcohol as well. For such a lousy aroma, the palate on this brew actually delivers a good foreign stout.

Re-rate 6/10/13: Bottle sample at a tasting at kerenmk’s place. Thanks Tom C. Dark brown with a beige head. Vegetal aroma, a bit roasty, a bit chocolaty, a bit acidic. Roasty and slightly vegetal flavor, bitter and a bit sweet with light acidic hints. Medium-bodied. Doesn’t seem very fresh. Score is not calculated. 4/3/5/3/10=2.5
Bottle sample at a tasting. Thanks zvikar. Dark brown to black yet transparent , with a bit of beige foam. Aroma of dark malt, a bit of roastiness and toasted bread. Sweet flavor with toasted bread, a tiny bit of caramel and a bit of coffee. Medium-bodied. A 7.5% Stout that tastes somewhat like a light Schwarzbier - Quite enjoyable! 6/3/7/3/13=3.2
