Tsingtao Beer has a pleasant aroma and a well-balanced taste. It has high-malty flavor and well-hopped character. Tsingtao is produced with spring water from Laoshan, a mountain area famous throughout China for the purity of its water. The domestically-grown hops used to brew Tsingtao are of such high quality that they are also exported to European breweries. Tsingtao also uses the finest yeast and barley imported from Australia and Canada in its brewing process.

NOTE: Under this entry, rate ONLY exported Tsingtao that roughly matches the ABV and local Tsingtao that matches it completely. If it differs in any way and doesn’t match the other entries under the brewer, please send in a bug report with the alcohol percentage, degrees plato (important!), the GTIN and preferably a link to a picture of both the front and the back label so that we can set up an entry.

Cor amarelo palha bem claro, translúcida e com pouco brilho; espuma branca de alta formação e baixa persistência lacing bom para regular. Aroma gramíneo com um pouco de papelão. Sabor seguindo o aroma; cerveja bastante linear. Corpo leve e carbonatação baixa.

0.33l bottle. Clear pale golden body, huge, but quickly collapsing white head. Aroma of bread, sour grains and some floral hops with only a minimal cardboard. Taste of some astringent grains and earthy hops. Flat and thin. The aroma was OK, but everything else was not so pleasant.

A little flat and thin foam proves very briefly at the top of this lager from China. The fragrance is hardly found, but with a little skill you can trace the hops and a subtle aroma of citrus. The taste is first dominated by hops and replaced the side of a little watery taste that results in a bitter taste like something you find in a usual mainstream lager. It certainly has no special features, but is undoubtedly good as a thirst quencher and fits fine for some strong and spicy Chinese dishes.

From the bottle, pours clear golden with quickly vanishing head. Sour nose grainy. Taste is grassy and you can imagin to taste the rice dunno if this is actually the case. Grainy herbal taste. Quick smooth finish. A bit more interesting then other asian Majors...

Extremely average pale lager. Japanese beers are all about balance; nothing is ever dominating or extreme. Which, to some people is very bad, we want a specific taste from our beer. For pale lagers, they are supposed to be balanced. As long as they’re not too sweet. This beer flows down easy, tastes good, is refreshing, and is not too sweet.
