COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Tsingtao Beer has a pleasant aroma and a well-balanced taste. It has high-malty flavor and well-hopped character. Tsingtao is produced with spring water from Laoshan, a mountain area famous throughout China for the purity of its water. The domestically-grown hops used to brew Tsingtao are of such high quality that they are also exported to European breweries. Tsingtao also uses the finest yeast and barley imported from Australia and Canada in its brewing process.

NOTE: Under this entry, rate ONLY exported Tsingtao that roughly matches the ABV and local Tsingtao that matches it completely. If it differs in any way and doesn’t match the other entries under the brewer, please send in a bug report with the alcohol percentage, degrees plato (important!), the GTIN and preferably a link to a picture of both the front and the back label so that we can set up an entry.

Dourada clara sem espuma, me lembra muito o sabor das cervas brazucas, tipo Itaipava e Schincariol. Dá pra tomar mas não vale o preço! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Horrible lager. Has an off taste and aftertaste. No head or lacing with some carbonation. Tastes like dried out hay.

Bottled. No glass. Okay. Lots of carbonation. Bitter at the front and doesn't dissipate. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

330 ml bottle from Chinese restaurant. Clear golden with thin white head. Corn, grain and fruit. Semi dry with low bitterness and medium carbonation.

Flaske på en kinesisk restaurant. Farven er lys gul. Smagen er vandet med en smule humlesmag. Lidt sødlig i smagen. En ret kedelig øl. Men hvis man stod i det varme Kina, så ville den sikkert være ganske vidunderlig.

Bottle at a chinese restaurant in Berlin - Like most of the asian beer brewed with rice, Tsingtao has this watery, sweetish, unhoppy taste. Very thin body. Along with a hot meal its quite drinkable though.

hauxe (173) - Butzbach, GERMANY - DEC 6, 2015
Tastes like water with a dubious source. The faint fizziness at the outset of each sip disappears quickly, leaving a limp, liquescent presence that is only with some imagination definable as beer. Easily not finished due to sheer boredom. The 1 point comes from my "do no evil" mantra. It is drinkable, although I can hardly see a reason to do so.

Flaske på dinner. Lys gylden, noe skum. Moderat karbonert . Smaker som en lys lager. Vann og hint av malt. God lager må viate

From a local oriental supermarket comes this not so great lager. Backlog from 2014/06/03.
