Tsingtao Beer has a pleasant aroma and a well-balanced taste. It has high-malty flavor and well-hopped character. Tsingtao is produced with spring water from Laoshan, a mountain area famous throughout China for the purity of its water. The domestically-grown hops used to brew Tsingtao are of such high quality that they are also exported to European breweries. Tsingtao also uses the finest yeast and barley imported from Australia and Canada in its brewing process.

NOTE: Under this entry, rate ONLY exported Tsingtao that roughly matches the ABV and local Tsingtao that matches it completely. If it differs in any way and doesn’t match the other entries under the brewer, please send in a bug report with the alcohol percentage, degrees plato (important!), the GTIN and preferably a link to a picture of both the front and the back label so that we can set up an entry.

Comme beaucoup de bière du monde celle ci n’a pas vraiment de goût, juste une bière pour dire que je ne bois pas de l’eau malgrès que les deux liquides sont très proches.

12 oz bottle; a gift from a software developer who grew up in the town where this was brewed. Thanks dude. Crystal clear piss yellow with a brief head. Nose is grain, skunk and lemon pith. Medium light but substantial for a lager. Taste is citrus pith, a bit metallic, sour apple and grass. A decent choice with Chinese.

Bottle from Thai Pepper. Pours transparent gold with a very thin layer of cream colored head. Aroma of cheap malts. Taste pretty much the same.

Pours a translucent golden with barely any head and some watery lacing. Smell is very faint, some corn and dry lager aroma. Taste is more corn and some very faint malt, crisp and bone dry. This is obviously not a particularly special, flavourful beer, but it has no pretentions of being one either - for a cheap mass produced lager, this is one I wouldn't mind returning to.

Tsingtao is always a good widely available go to. It's got enough flavor and body to go with most food.

Not any where near as bad as I had thought, did have it super cold on a Friday afternoon as soon as work finished so that may have affected the rating.

Very pale and clear colour, decent head but with large and even bubbles.I couldn’t smell anything here, maybe skunk. Body is very light, malt is OK in flavour -- not great but in the category of a fresh loaf of white bread with sugar on top. Watery finish, not crisp. To me, there’s not a lot of hops. maybe crisp, maybe no flavour

Pretty watery. Not a bad taste, but nothing really distinctive either. Good to quench your thirst on a hot day, nothing more.
