2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Tsingtao is a nice beer. Nothing special. For a very inexpensive beer it is good value.

Little to no aroma, light gold color. Taste is of a light wheat and a little metal. Very poor.

Bottle in china. Taste is a bit of metal. One of the better beers we had on our trip to china.

1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Yum...pours a largely clear pale golden with some suspended sediment and a thin off-white head. Nose of Heineken...in other words, prominent if not overwhelming skunked hops, some candy corn and other assorted actual malt sweetness, and a hint of spice. Taste is actually quite sweet, with hardly any bitterness to balance. Light to medium bodied, flaccid yet somewhat active with teeny tiny bubbles, surprisingly drying toward the finish but ultimately an underwhelming exit. I would pick this over Heineken, though. Have I ever mentioned how much I hate Heineken?

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Well, not that good. I was very curious about this beer but it didnít surprise me. Itís color is very light, very pale, not different from average pale lagers. It lacks a lot about flavor, it fades hugely at the end of every swallow. I hope to find more Chinese beers in the future, there must be a good one.

1.5 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Fairly minimal taste, nice for washing down super hot Sichuan food but not much beyond that. A metallic sweetness dominates.

330ml bottle. Crap industrial lager. Too watery, sweet, cornish. Very poor.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Light grainy malt, skunky, herbal (yeast?) aroma and flavor. Also some sweetness and pepper in flavor. Not a terrible flavor--but pretty thin.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
In glass itís seen like a regular lager with a clear golden pale color and a small and unstable head. The aroma reveals bread, cereal, grass and ginger notes. When is tasted it has light sweetness, medium bitterness and a light body, with a thin feel and an astringent ending. Neither the best not the worst beer to try.
