COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Tsingtao Beer has a pleasant aroma and a well-balanced taste. It has high-malty flavor and well-hopped character. Tsingtao is produced with spring water from Laoshan, a mountain area famous throughout China for the purity of its water. The domestically-grown hops used to brew Tsingtao are of such high quality that they are also exported to European breweries. Tsingtao also uses the finest yeast and barley imported from Australia and Canada in its brewing process.

NOTE: Under this entry, rate ONLY exported Tsingtao that roughly matches the ABV and local Tsingtao that matches it completely. If it differs in any way and doesn’t match the other entries under the brewer, please send in a bug report with the alcohol percentage, degrees plato (important!), the GTIN and preferably a link to a picture of both the front and the back label so that we can set up an entry.

Kind of skunky, light, watery, pale, forgettable. Blame the green bottle I guess.

Bad news. Smells and tastes like grass clippings thrown up from my rottweiler. No hops, malt, head or lacing. Generic ginger ale look without the bubbles. Run away from this one.

"The finest beer from China." Let’s see how this goes. Pours the typical straw color with rapidly disappearing head of a typical American macro. Smells of something not hops or malt. Maybe corn/rice? Reminds me of the Beast. That smell magnifies when you drink it and it actually has a watery aftertaste. I never thought that would be possible. Coors Light and MGD slap this thing silly. Save your $1 and don’t buy it.

Yellow to clear, light, white thin head, only slightly hoppy in aroma and flavor, slight hint of sweetness and malt, a nice balance, refreshing, a bit lacking in complexity and flavor for me.

Bottle 0,33ltr: Specially bought this one for the Olympic Games, but i hope their are better Chinese beers than this one.

A watery, uninteresting beer, with thin to non existant head. I would say it is only good for washing down the dust and grime you will feel in your throat after walking a day in one of Chinas poluted cities.

Huge green bottle, aroma is malty and sweet, a little bit grassy taste, good for refreshing in a sunny day.
