COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Tsingtao Beer has a pleasant aroma and a well-balanced taste. It has high-malty flavor and well-hopped character. Tsingtao is produced with spring water from Laoshan, a mountain area famous throughout China for the purity of its water. The domestically-grown hops used to brew Tsingtao are of such high quality that they are also exported to European breweries. Tsingtao also uses the finest yeast and barley imported from Australia and Canada in its brewing process.

NOTE: Under this entry, rate ONLY exported Tsingtao that roughly matches the ABV and local Tsingtao that matches it completely. If it differs in any way and doesn’t match the other entries under the brewer, please send in a bug report with the alcohol percentage, degrees plato (important!), the GTIN and preferably a link to a picture of both the front and the back label so that we can set up an entry.

yellow pour with no head just some bubbles on top. very skunky, malty smell. good thickness and would go nice with a spicy meal quite well.

Not so good, but not the worst either. Another in a long line of typical Asian style beers. Must be ice cold!!

Had this in the bottle at Bottlescrew Bill’s. This beer is pretty bad. Tinny soapy taste and a gross feeling in your mouth. I don’t recommend this to anyone. It looks like a normal beer though, so I guess it’s got that going for you. I’m not gonna rate the appearance any higher than the default because I don’t think this beer deserves over 1 as a total score. It’s that bad.

Bottle. Had this with a serving of Peking Duck at my favorite sit down Chinese place. Their beer list was lacking, so I threw caution to the wind and ordered one. It’s not as bad as everyone makes it out to be, but its not all that great either. MIddle of the road lager beer. No better or worse than a Bud.

Mildly skunky and pissy smell. Yellow with a medium head. Tastes like watered down urine. Lacks any redeeming value except for the fact that it is only mildly offensive.
