Tsingtao Beer has a pleasant aroma and a well-balanced taste. It has high-malty flavor and well-hopped character. Tsingtao is produced with spring water from Laoshan, a mountain area famous throughout China for the purity of its water. The domestically-grown hops used to brew Tsingtao are of such high quality that they are also exported to European breweries. Tsingtao also uses the finest yeast and barley imported from Australia and Canada in its brewing process.

NOTE: Under this entry, rate ONLY exported Tsingtao that roughly matches the ABV and local Tsingtao that matches it completely. If it differs in any way and doesn’t match the other entries under the brewer, please send in a bug report with the alcohol percentage, degrees plato (important!), the GTIN and preferably a link to a picture of both the front and the back label so that we can set up an entry.

Birra semplice. Giallo brillante e trasparente. Al naso odore di malto. In bocca molto carbonata, con un amaro debole tendente al medio, ma abbastanza persistente. Adatta ad accompagnare piatti fritti

This beer whas chugged down efter a long walk on the great wall of China during my honey moon. I did the job of putting out my thirst so thats something. But as a beverage to enjoy for the experience of it I would not recommend.

Bottle. Not offensive, but a soulless and pretty much tasteless lager. Don’t bother with this one.

Ło jejku jejku mamuniu, koloru to prawie niema, jaśniejsze toto niż tymbark jabłkowo-miętowy.

Bottle into pils glass, clear pale golden color with white head. Aroma notes of pale malt sweetness, grain and faint earth hop. Taste adds faint grass and slight metallic note. Light body, moderate-heavy carbonation, crisp with clean saaz finish. Pretty standard European-style pale lager, no flaws and refreshing.

Pours a clear golden yellow color, topped with an average frothy white head, no retention. Malty aroma, sweet grainy notes. Taste is sweet, lightly watery with minimal final bitterness. A bit metallic aftertaste. Not something I’d drink on a regular basis. But passable when ice col, if nothing else around.

Not the worst tasting lager out there that I’ve had but still not a good lager. Why can’t all lager take a leaf out of brands like Sierra Nevada and use more hops for some flavour?

Pale colour and small froth. Rice and maize flavour with some florar hops. A bit watery with thin body and low carbo.
