COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Tsingtao Beer has a pleasant aroma and a well-balanced taste. It has high-malty flavor and well-hopped character. Tsingtao is produced with spring water from Laoshan, a mountain area famous throughout China for the purity of its water. The domestically-grown hops used to brew Tsingtao are of such high quality that they are also exported to European breweries. Tsingtao also uses the finest yeast and barley imported from Australia and Canada in its brewing process.

NOTE: Under this entry, rate ONLY exported Tsingtao that roughly matches the ABV and local Tsingtao that matches it completely. If it differs in any way and doesn’t match the other entries under the brewer, please send in a bug report with the alcohol percentage, degrees plato (important!), the GTIN and preferably a link to a picture of both the front and the back label so that we can set up an entry.

Bottle. Pours a pale golden body with a white head. Adjunctive with some light vegetative notes, grain, and some light floral notes. An easy session ale that paired well with Tai.

Best beer from China that i’ve had by a mile, and thats not saying much, went well with Chinese food though, but otherwise i couldn’t see myself drinking it.

Bottle picked up at Waitrose, Witney, July 10th 2006. Had this over the weekend. Pale golden in colour little of an aroma to be speak of. Not much bitterness, too sweet, too thin, very bland but one thing going for it is that I have had much worse. Maybe would have been better if partnered with a Chinese Meal? (but I doubt it)

Not so good, but not the worst either. Another in a long line of typical Asian style beers. Must be ice cold!!

Skunky toast aroma, light hops pushing through. I drank half of this and poured the rest into a pot of cooking bratwursts. The taste was light and malty but the skunkiness was a little too pronounced for my tastes.

Skinnyviking (5467) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JUL 23, 2006
Bottle. Non-existent head. Clear golden body. Weak hops aroma. sweet aroma, too sweet hops flavor, probably because of rice.

Light yellow colour, little or no head. Bit of hoppy bitterness. Not bad considering what it is. Had it at Mandarin Chinese Buffet :)

A nice golden coloring with strong carbonation, this offers a very mild malty aroma. It’s a clean, crisp drink that goes good with any meal.
