COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Tsingtao Beer has a pleasant aroma and a well-balanced taste. It has high-malty flavor and well-hopped character. Tsingtao is produced with spring water from Laoshan, a mountain area famous throughout China for the purity of its water. The domestically-grown hops used to brew Tsingtao are of such high quality that they are also exported to European breweries. Tsingtao also uses the finest yeast and barley imported from Australia and Canada in its brewing process.

NOTE: Under this entry, rate ONLY exported Tsingtao that roughly matches the ABV and local Tsingtao that matches it completely. If it differs in any way and doesn’t match the other entries under the brewer, please send in a bug report with the alcohol percentage, degrees plato (important!), the GTIN and preferably a link to a picture of both the front and the back label so that we can set up an entry.

Bought this in a 22 oz green bottle, Poured very nicelly into the glass quite an impressive head for a lager beer..went down a bit but still nice. Good golden colour. Smells pretty good too some malt light hops. Taste however is pretty average..its not bad but its hardly good. Feels light in the mouth and its drinkable..I bought this to go along with the Szechuan chicken i prepared at home..it does a good job with this spicy dish

This is the original kung fu beer! Not impressive taste-wise, but has a very old-skool kitsch appeal. A cheapo light cool beer to enjoy by the roadside stall.

Pale golden colour with fairly thin white head. Strong scent of fruit, flowers, and honey over a nice light malt. Floral taste with a crisp finish. Pretty good with anything spicy.

Extremely more-ish. The best of the Commie beers I've had. Its a sprightly drop and great with asain food. Spanner.

Bright tasting and gummy. Nice golden color for a lager. Can’t specify the metamorphizing taste, but it’s nice. Hops too. One from the ol’ PRC supplies the list, and I can’t say its a bad beer.

I must have got a really fresh bottle of this because it had a lot more maltiness than I expected. Unspectacular, but easy drinking with enough flavour to make you want more than one. Or two...

Sweet flavour. Flavor similar to macro-brewed lager, with more Palate. Dryish aftertaste. Brilliant gold pour with clear white boutiful head.

UPDATED: FEB 8, 2006 Smells like a lager PIlsener, but with some honney features. Not bad, but not a beer that would make you crazy.
