2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Light, light, light. You can tell that some hops were used in the brewing of this beer, though.
Pleasant, innocuous and forgettable. It’s a sad commentary, though, that I’d drink this over MilBudCoors anytime.

2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Aroma of hay and honey. Pours pale golden yellow with a rocky white head. Round mouthfeel but no strong taste notes other than a light sweetness that prevents it from being crisp. Distinctive but not a favorite.

Strong citrusy crisp smell. Pours a clear yellow. Somewhat bitter but with a complimenting sweet after taste. Light in carbonation.

BBD 8/5/15. Clear golden pour. Normal head volume, lacing and slightly below normal retention.
Very light nose, even for a lager, just a hint of yeast and malt.
Light medium body with a smooth texture. Superb carbonation with a bit of effervescence in the middle and just the right amount for a nice prickly finish.
For a lager, the flavor profile is reasonably intense, complexity is lacking but the balance is superb. It begins with a light grainy biscuit that is very subtly sweet. The middle brings an equally subtle mild hop bitterness that is perfectly balanced. Hop flavor is present only as a hint that it’s there. The finish is crisp, clean and leaves you with a fading mild bitterness with a grainy character. No skunking was evidenced. Possibly the best starter beer since it never really assaults the taste buds, but exposes all the classic lager elements in muted fashion.

Your general lager..but better. Have had it from some Chinatown restaurants, though I highly prefer Shaoxing wine (try it you guys, it’s actually good)
Bright gold, a bit of malt and a bit of sweetness. I actually would not mind if this was the preferred super cheap beer. It’s still super cheap but it has a bit of flavor you wouldn’t expect.
As before, 谢谢

Flesje bij de Chinees, eigenlijk weinig over te zeggen, behalve dat er op de achtergrond een klein zoetje zit die ik als vervelend ervaar

Clear yellow color beer witha white head, frothy and lasting. Aroma is strongly hoppy with some malt notes. Flavor is pretty bitter with some comnbined lower sweetness. Body is medium and carbonation is low. The end is long and nicely bitter.
