Bottle from World Beer Market (Sake no Taniguchi). Fresh nose, with tropical fruit, light stinky hopping, and pale malts. Clear medium gold color. Flavors of citrus, light mango, resin, and small bittering, with a dryish finish. Medium body. Balanced and very drinkable.

A perfect example of the Aussies doing American Pale Ale well. Beautiful hop profile, hoppy but not overly aggressive with a good malt backbone.

330ml bottle. Pours clear amber, white head. Aroma is orangey pith syrup & mild pine. Taste is certainly on the hoppy side, syrupy tropical fruit and caramel. Lots of resin with a bitter hop finish.

Bottle, pours clear orange with a white head. Fairly malty aroma with a light fruitiness. Taste is more pronounced with resin, peach, citrus and white grapes along the nice malt base. Light to medium sweet with a well dosed firm bitterness. Nice.

Bottle from Kensington Whole Foods. Beautifully tactile dinosaurskin-necked bottle. Sickly peach, menthol, batter and cough sweet aroma with 1 needle of spruce poking through. Murray mint, chip shop batter, peach iced tea and air freshener flavour aping my least favourite kind of US IPA that buries beautiful hops in a sludge of molten cough sweet and honey. A slew of Vomited Southern Comfort. Sorry it’s a 5 from me.
