Now with 5.8% and it also comes in a very cool bottle with a "Sauron-Eye crown cap". Good looking ale with a distinctive hoppy smell. Lots of citrus and bitter hops make it "californian" or "American", but Iíve had lots of british and even german IPAís with a similiar complexity - so nothing i could clearly identify as "American". But nevermind, it tastes great, not exaggerated and it is well balanced.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Big floral aroma and some piney hops as well. Head disappears a bit quickly leaving a flat amber body. Taste is silky, creamy, fruity and malty. Not big on hops they actually take a backseat I feel. Finish is watery. Good beer not great.

Nice golden colour, with a big head. Soft nose, not too hoppy. Good hoppy, piney flavour, easy drinking, but plenty of flavour for hop lovers. Nice soft carbonation.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from Tuatara brewery. Slightly hazy dark golden, grapefruit, citrus hops dominate, toffee/butterscotch malt, quite good, but I prefer the NZ hopped version.
