3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
From the FYO at Regional WInes & Spirits. Pours pale with a light fluffy head, Aroma full of grapefruit and grass. Quite subtle and light in the mouth, but the hops kick in quickly, leaving a refreshingly lemony lingering bitter aftertaste. My overall sensation of this ale is "fresh", it feels fresh and light in the mouth, bright and vibrant in the mouth. Nicely done.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: APR 26, 2014 Simply superb if you’re after a fresh hopped beer. Lamentably seasonal (but a great reason to hang on for another year). Nicely balanced taste with a surprisingly sustained smooth bitter finish. Latest version (2014) is better than last year’s (to my taste at least).

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Hazy dark straw colour with fluffy white head.Big grassy nose. You can tell that it is green hopped, as big bitterness comes through. The bitterness remains on the tongue for ages.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
On tap at Cookie. Nice and hoppy. Aromas of grass and citrus, with hints of caramel. Taste is quite bitter, and long lasting. Palate is velvety, and medium bodied. Amber, with a frothy head.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On the lighter golden side of amber with a thinnish white head. Light pale malt aromas in hand with tropical hoppiness, lemon and grapefruit. The hops are the lead flavour with spruce needles and gentle fruitiness. The spruce is persistent and pushes the bitterness aspect. This gives an enduring finish of lemon peel and herbal astringency. Lovely tasty pint that wasn’t helped by gasflow pourage and being served too cold. I’d love to see what this could do on handpull.

Golden in colour nice creamy foam it’s one of the best beers I have looked at in a while, nose of a fruit salad bowl, Nutty malt and typical Sauvin hop flavour with a nice grapefruit hit, perfectly balanced and a beer I will drink alot of, pity they only harvest these hops once a year.
