4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bomber bottle. Pours a hazy medium amber with a thin white head; moderate carbonation. Aroma is spicey, with some floral hop notes. Taste is bitter, with citrus and floral hop notes, and a roasty caramel malt undertone. AWarming mouthfeel. Athough bitter, quite balanced, a large amount of flavouring and aromatic hops, and hard to think it’s the 167 IBUs as advertised - a very well done IIPA! Very very good....

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bomber. Clouded amber orange, fading foamy off-white head. Pungent aroma of fruity hops and rich sweet malt. Intense resinous hop taste, tropical fruit, citrus, and pine, well balanced with strong sweet caramel malts, bold and boozy. Soft carbonation, more full bodied, aggressively hopped. Long malty bitter finish. A nasty hop/malt bomb designates this one: DNFL (Definitely Not For Lagerboys)

UPDATED: DEC 6, 2013 Sweet aroma of figs and brown sugar. Thick pour, light and foamy head. This batch has a strong bitter finish conflicting the sweet aroma. Nice finish, a great beer for anyone who enjoys a solid IPA.

500ml bottle pours golden with white head that lasts. Aroma of floral hops, sweet esters, wheatgrass, caramel, lime. Extremely bitter, you can taste the alcohol. Taste buds are shot. Aftertaste is dry and grassy.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle from Plonk. Bright, slightly hazy orange-amber, small tight white head, massive aromas of grapefruit/pine/resin slap you in the face, extreme, mouth puckering lemony bitterness, some malty caramel sweetness, warm alcohol. Big beer, big smile!

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from Coop. 9%. Pours a darker amber, with a bubbly tan head. Aroma is citrusy, grapefruit hops predominant. Taste is extremely hoppy (167IBUs of fun), tempered with a pleasant citrusy sweetness that disguises the higher abv quite well. Exquisite.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
A nice and interesting Double IPA. The pour is a bright gold with a hazy orange in the body. The nose is well hopped with hints of tropical fruits, grapefruit and general acidity. A bit sweet with bready and caramel malts up front and tons of citrus and tropical fruit flavours. There is a moderately heavy bitterness on the finish with a sharp lingering bitterness that subsides after a short while. overall a good Imperial IPA!

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle, shared with Parksy, TylerDurden, and Rosser. Orange-tinted gold. Aroma is strong on citrus oil hop character, light malty sweetness. Nice hoppy body, grapefruit, light florals, well balanced malts. I much preferred this to Mission Shipwrecked, less sweet, better balance, much more to my tastes.

4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bomber from Central City Liquor Store in North Surrey. Thanks to Crit for the recommendation. A medium pale amber color with little head. Hops and fruit on the nose. A curious and distinctive hop note and a bit of fruit on the tongue. A good malt background. Bitter and malted on the finish. Not as bitter as imagined. Quite nice. NOT a session beer!
