4.5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Tuatara need to be commended for this beer as it is one of the best I have tried. While aggressively hoppy at 167 IBU (which I would contest) it has a smooth sweetness that carries the beer. A little alcoholic on the finish, but I am nitpicking on a fine specimen of a beer. Extra points given for 3D glasses that accompany the beer.

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
500ml bottle, from the Wine Seller, Wolverhampton, courtesy of Simon F. Pours hazy orange with good white head. Aroma is tropical fruit. Taste brings quite a savage bitter hop bite with some sweet exotic fruit coming through. A bit overly hopped and overly bitter for my delicate tastebuds.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
500ml bottle at home, beautiful design. Equally beautiful medium cloudy, golden colour, stable, creamy offwhite head. Nicely hoppy nose with citrus fruits, orange zest, spruce. Taste is orange zesty and resinous, firm, sweet and creamy malty base. Bitterness builds, big-time, in the aftertaste. Big body, medium carbonation.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Fles 0,5l.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle @ THT November. Coolest looking bottle ever! Pours a clear golden beer with a thin white head on top. Aroma of tropical fruits, sweet piney resins, hint of peaches. Flavor is malty sweet, not bitter, hop juice and slightly citrussy. Bittersweet, malty aftertaste, soft carbonation. Nice IIPA, but it lacks some power. Maybe an older bottle..

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle @ THT. Clear a bit rusty orange color, medium sized white head. Aroma is malts, hops, a little too much overripe sweet hops. Taste malts, hops, again a little overripe fruits again, some caramel. Decent body and carbonation.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle, spiked like a lizard. Aroma is very hoppy, with citrus, passion fruit and mild caramel. Taste is a fruit fest, with citrus, peach, passion fruit and a nice caramelised malty body. Great beer.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
500ml bottle [celebrating the All Blacks historical triumph]. Slightly cloudy, orangey golden colour with average, thick, frothy, fairly lasting and lacing, off-white head. Citrusy and piney, resinous, hoppy aroma, notes of lemon, grapefruit, tangerine, a touch of pineapple, some lemon peel, a touch of mint and eucalyptus, caramel malty basis with an almond touch. Taste is pungent bitter hoppy, citrusy, malty background with an almond touch, slightly washy fruitiness, lemon-orange-pineapple-grapefruit; lemongrass, mint, balm and eucalyptus interludes in the last third. Refreshing, throttled lively carbonation, lasting bitter finish. It’s a hop monster, but I try to take it untouched as Richie McCaw would do.
