4.9 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20
Probably my favourite beer atm. It is a seriously impressive beer. The 3D is gimicky, but very cool. The head is not great visually, but the aroma is superb. Rich fruity smell, very complex palate and a long dry finish. Note, itís 9%, you donít want more than two!

This is a fantastic beer: full bodied, good flavour, nice bitterness and amazing oily mouthfeel. This is an absolute must for hop heads!

Bottle from Slowbeer. Great hoppy beer, never-ending flavour. Aromas of grass, flowers, liquorice. Taste is mostly bitter, long length. Palate is syrupy, full bodied. Amber, with a frothy head.

4.5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Tuatara need to be commended for this beer as it is one of the best I have tried. While aggressively hoppy at 167 IBU (which I would contest) it has a smooth sweetness that carries the beer. A little alcoholic on the finish, but I am nitpicking on a fine specimen of a beer. Extra points given for 3D glasses that accompany the beer.

Expecting something much more bitter at 167. Was not disappointed as this is an extremely delicious drop that was full of flavour but not excessively bitter. Very drinkable.

4.5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
UPDATED: DEC 6, 2013 Sweet aroma of figs and brown sugar. Thick pour, light and foamy head. This batch has a strong bitter finish conflicting the sweet aroma. Nice finish, a great beer for anyone who enjoys a solid IPA.

The head is good, the body golden. It smells intensive fruity-flowery, hopintensive, aromatic. The taste is nice creamy, hoparomatic, hopintensive, bit bitter, malty-creamy fruity-flowery. Perfect! 13/12/13/14/-/14

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
This beer is like David Bowie.
I thought I would blithely throw this out into the forum and then struggle to justify my assertion as it is late at night and I have had a few, but then pride and confidence have become resurgent and I can qualify my statement with just one point: it is phenomenal. David Bowie is a phenomenon (voted by two of my pub quizzes as the coolest man alive) and so is this. It appears innocuous enough, golden amber and some coarse whitish head and then you smell it: grapefruit and resinous Pacific NW hops. Amber, spruce and an assault of chlorophyll, orchard fruit, stonefruit and sharp marmalade aromas. God alone only knows what Tuatara paid for the hops.
Anyway, the flavour is deeply apricotty, orange peel, wild grasses and a lovely sherbet-like carbonation. Once this beastie has sat on the palate you get loads of sour and bitter. Grapefruit, goosberry, amber pine resins, orange peel and a full noseful of what youíve just consumed.
A symphony of taste and vision. I agree with my esteemed colleagues and their reviews, Tuatara deserve thanks for this offering. Letís dance.
PS: my tastebuds werenít overwhelmed, just orgasming.
