3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 OJB (39) - Dunedin, - MAY 2, 2012The colour was pale orange amber brown, with a light head, and light carbonation. It was quite cloudy. The aroma had wheat, yeast and banana fruit. There was orange citrus fruit, with wheat and yeast flavours, light spice, and a medium crisp bitter finish. Light bodied, crisp and strong wheat flavours.

Cloudy dull yellow. Smells footy...too much yeast. The body is fairly full, but still on the yeasty side of things. Touch style to nail.

Standard haze, etc. nutmeg, citrus, mild banana, faint tropical note, dirt. Maybe it’s been a while since I’ve had I e but it smells pretty decent. The taste is solid and made my mouth water. Well put together taste - citrus tartness rolls jn and out then comes again and stays. Nice spice that doesn’t overrun anything, a bit watery on occasion. Mellow banana fades, drying, zippy zoop znip.

Tap at Fork & Tap pub in Arrowtown. The is an ok unfiltered wheat beer with usual elements (banana, cloves, bread) but there are many better examples of the style. Hazy orange pour with decent creamy white head.

A fruity, cheerful wheat beer that is light and bubbly with a dry finish. Perfect for a warm & sunny afternoon.

(330ml bottle) Tuatara mixed 6-pack. Pours a thin, quick dissipating white cloudy golden. Some artificial banana flavour but overtones of canned vegetables. Slight citrus, sweet yet almost spoiled milk and horse blanket. Pretty disappointing.

Pours an almost clear pale straw with some white head dissolving extremely quickly. Aromas of banana, some clove and wheat. Flavours are fruity, wheat, a little sweetness from the pale malt, and small amounts of clove, hop and yeast presence on the finish. Decent amount of carbonation.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 gramity (1054) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - NOV 27, 2012
Pours slightly hazy with a frothy white head. Wheat, banana and clove. The mouthfeel is smooth and I liked the spicy notes here. A decent attempt at the style

Pours cloudy, banana on the nose, cloves of course... taste is not on the sour lemon side of the hefes but sweeter, finish is mildly bitter. The viscosity is quite creamy, which is what brought this above a 2.9. My favourite New Zealand hefeweizen so far.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20 ciaranc (365) - Dublin, IRELAND - NOV 14, 2012
Pours hazy gold, not much head, bit disappointing. Nice banana and clove nose, bit of yeasty tang. Taste follows the nose, mellow and not overdone. Like many Tuataras, a nicely done if not overly adventurous twist on the style.

330ml brown bottle. Yellow pour with expected haze, small white head on top with creamy edges. Soft banana nose with light wheat. Taste has wheat, light banana and minerally yeast. Slight citrus note in the finish. Light body with average carbonation. Overall the yeast under performs, not enough clove or banana or other hefe like characters to push this further... a bit bland.
