Sunny gold and bright as bright. Well fuelled, persistent fluffy white head drabs a cloud of foam down the glass. Aroma a blend of peppery, herbal hops, lemon zest and toasted grains. Soft, foamy mouthfeel and very light bodied. Fresh chilled it was dry, dusty and dominated by a New Zealand hop back end that is fruity, citric and herbaceous – low bitterness, also peppery especially after the swallow. Malt sweetens as it warms. Very easy drinking, balanced and quaffable. Don’t quite get that they grasped a Deutsches Helles but a tasty lager none the less! (33cL, BB 29/09/12, Freo Doctor)

Really underwhelmed by this. I have yet to taste a lager in these crafty times that is worthy of the price and the rare opportunity I have to sample something interesting. That’s probably the worst thing - I only have time for 1, and this is no different to a Heineken or Steinlager.

Craft Islington. Keg. Bright clear gold beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Palate is light, semi dry and crispy. Nice fresh tasting bready pale malts. Light lager character. Modest citrus and light floralness. Clean crisp and drinkable. Nice Helles.

This "classic Munich style lager" is basically more like your average Partyburner or any other cheap German mass produced swill. Throw in a dash of dishwashing detergent and that’s the flavour right there (maybe that’s what they mean with the tagline "crisp, CLEAN & refreshing). Head fizzes like a low effort homebrew. Easily the worst from a overrated brewery.

Pours a brilliant dark yellow-gold color with a shy, white head. Not too much going on in the aroma. Faint hops and some pils malt. Flavor is again mild with pils malt. There is a slight plastic-y after taste.

Not bad of a lager. Pours light yellow, little head. Aroma and flavour of sweet corn, malts, and wheat.

Bottle from Coppers, Newcastle. Very pale golden coloured with a floral sweet fruity citrus flavour followed by a very dry spicy lemon and slight tart finish. Very nice.
