3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 blankboy (4431) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - APR 28, 2012
Bottle [11.2oz]. Pours a hazy orange-amber with a massive long-lasting fluffy off-white head. Aroma of biscuity malt, light hops, some sourness, grain and fruit -- with that massive head and sourness in the nose, I wonder if this bottle is past it’s due date, I only bought it a few weeks ago though. Flavour is fruity and biscuity along with light hops, light sugary sweetness and a decent bitter finish -- not hoppy enough by far for the style. Average bodied. Neither the aroma or the flavour were on style, overall it’s just O.K.
Score was edited and increased for 2 reasons, one is I liked it more as I drank it and two, I found the best before on the bottle and it was indeed past, and that’s not the beer’s fault.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Cybercat (1886) - Georgia, USA - APR 24, 2012
Aroma is malty and sweet, scarcely hoppy, not much like an IPA. It pours a clear, dark golden amber with a respectable, if not too persistent, pale cream head that leaves some good lacing. Flavor is fairly hoppy, but as much malty as hoppy, with a fruity undertone of pear and orange. Smooth texture has average body and fizz, and leaves a malty, slightly fruity, slightly hop bitter finish. Average, but still acceptable.

330ml bottle pours a golden orange color with a 3 finger white head with decent retention settling to leave some healthy lacing on the glass. Aroma is light caramel malts and some spicy citrusy hops. Taste is caramel malty sweetness with a generous hoppy bitterness. Light to medium body with loads of carbonation leaving a fizzy feeling on the tongue. Overall, I enjoyed this brew with its nice balance of flavors.

Bottle. Best part was the appearance. Amber color, foamy head. Looks great. Tasye was pretty flavorless. Watered down. Not great at all

Hazy amber. A bubbly head--overly spritzy that disappears very fast. generally malty flavor with some grapefruit and a dryish mildly bitter finish. OK.

This is kind of a cross between English and American IPAs. Served at a good temperature and poured an average sized, fizzy, foamy head that settled down to some islands and good lace. Color is an orange copper amber. Aroma is hop, malt, musk, funk, caramel, fruit. Flavor’s like nose with carbonic tang a bit too sharp, hops relatively more like APA or a hoppy EIPA. Body is good except for the fizzy carbonation. Finish is like flavor, carbonic bite lingers. Drinkable.

Medium sized tan head with fair retention and lace. Murky, copper hued ale.Nose is lightly soured, lil grainy, musty. Body is almost medium, spritzy carbonation, lil oily. Some spicey hop flavors with a sour maltyness, lightly phenolic, bad. Funky, bandaidy finish. Should know better.

Pours a lovely orange color. Strange taste with a mild bitterness. Semi enjoyable.

330ml Bottle: Gushed and produced a massive head. Aroma of malt, caramel, hops, leaves, and some nuts. Poured orange in color with a huge, creamy, fluffy, frothy, off-white head that diminished but lasted throughout. Cloudy. Lightly sparkling. Full of small, medium, and large-sized particles throughout. Flavor is light to medium sweet and slightly bitter. Tastes of malt, hops, nuts, leaves, and honey. Medium body. Dry, chalky texture. Average carbonation. Malty, honey finish. Not much of an IPA.

Tap at Beervana. Average ipa. Nothing that really jumps out at me. Bit of a let down considering the APA is very good
