Bottle from stirchley wines, birmingham. Black beer with small mocha head and patchy lacing. Aroma of roasted malts and some light licorice. Taste is roasted malts, a touch of licorice and some chocolate. Decent.

Bottle from Yamaichi. Winey nose, roast malt, chocolate, cocoa powder. Thin dark brown with reddish edges. Sweet roast, chocolate, medium bitterness, light plummy fruit, Finishes with rough bittering. Thin-medium body, A bit dry in the finish. Pretty good. Rather light bodied, with, mild flavors. Interesting NZ-character porter.
