COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Can from 7/11 Copenhagen - Pours gold with a thin white head. Very sweet malt, slight grassy, ruined by a strong metallic taste. Not a fan of this.

Bottle 330ml. @ home.

Clear medium orange yellow colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, toasted - caramel, pale malt, malt, alcohol. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, sweet malt, marzipan malt, light metalic hops. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light to moderate alcoholic. Thx. to Mip for letting me know Ive never rated this gem ;O) [20130114]

Pours deep gold into a shaker. White head quickly recedes to nothing. Malty adjunct aromas. Crisp with sour caramel and a hot malt finish.

Purchased from 7/11 in Copenhagen. Clear gold beer. Dry acrid saccharine sweet lager with a nasty metallic note. Pretty grim!

Bottle from 7-Eleven @ Nørrebro, Copenhagen. The exoticism of being able to purchase beer around the clock at any given street corner in Denmark (as opposed to Norway) is slightly hampered by my impending hangover following day 2 at Copenhagen Beer Celebration. This should be a decent "reparasjonsbajer" ("fix-me-up-beer") at 7,5 % ABV, if nothing more. :-S To identify the color of the body I have to pour a bit out on the pavement in the back alley I have chosen for my breakfast drink, as the paper cup from 7-Eleven is pretty opaque. The location is perhaps more befitting of Norway, but I can’t shake the feeling that I’m doing something slightly dodgy. :-P The body seems, after what I can discern, has a light golden body with a small white head. Aroma is grassy hops, pale malts and hints of red berries. Taste is sweet malty tones, marzipan and grains. Hops are more or less completely hidden. Hints of unripe red berries again. Slightly fizzy palate. No surprises here, but at least the alcohol sends my culminating headache back to the bottom of mye neocortex (or whereever it goes) and I’m ready for another day in Copenhagen. A very "functional" beer, this is. :-)
