ABV may vary.

Tap. where watery beer. Not the best pilsner but one of the most popular in Denmark. no head at all. I only drink it to get drunk.!

Bottle June 2006. Pours a bright, transparent, golden color and a medium white head. Aroma is bready and herbal, somewhat, slightly skunked. Taste is dry and malty with a pleasant bitter aftertaste. More of a german dry pilsner, similar, in a remote way, to Jever although more compromising. Not bad for a macro.

Tuborg is an OK Pilsner. Not the worst beer in the world. Not a bad choice for a summer night.

UPDATED: MAR 9, 2007 33 cl can on an airplane between Copenhagen and Prague.

Pours with a big white head, fairly creamy at the top, lots of tiny bubbles in the rest. Straw yellow color, clear and not light yellow as some. Dominant malty scent, also a bit sour smell. Rather medium body at first, but turns a bit watery. Not too malty, but still a bit sweet taste. A tiny fruitiness in the flavor as well. Fairly low to medium bitterness. Sweet and malty long aftertaste. Fairly refreshing, but a bit "old beer" taste on the toungue after a while.

Bottle: pours a plain golden colour with a small white head. Grassy/hay malty smell that I knew was coming before I opened the bottle. The palate is a little more interesting, a little sweeter than most in the style, no pronounced hops to note. The finish is clean and a little malty. Not too bad, and definitly better than I had expected.

500 ml can, 4.6% a/v Pours a nice crisp looking amber colour with a lacy white head. Smells like malt and wet hay. Tastes of mainly malt. Not nearly as i expected to be. A fairly sweet tasting beer. Not bad, but too malty for my tastes.

Bottled. (plastic-bottle with lift-off cap) Pale golden with a white head. Malt and grass in the aroma, along with some hop. Weak flavor with malt and hops. Light hoppy finish. A classic Dane, but no classic. (060422)
