Typical from the carlsberg family but not very typical for a premium lager. All the weak flavor qualifications apply here.

1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
UPDATED: AUG 10, 2004 When i was a kid, this was the best beer in the world. Then i learned not only that there are other beers than pilsner, and that it’s not even a good pilsner. It washes down on a hot summer day, and it gets you drunk if you keep drinking and peeing. It’s mainstream, it’s cheap, it’s boring...

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: JUN 22, 2005 I think Grøn (Green label) Tuborg is a very well balanced beer; the bitternes plays very well together with its lovely taste of malt. I know that many ’hardcore’ beertasters (especially in DK) don’t like Grøn Tuborg, and I wonder if it’s more the being big than the taste they’re against.

1.2 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 7/20
(on bottle) Growing up on either this or Carlsberg, I can only compare the two. This is the dryer, more thin one. Sour aroma, lots of carbonation makes the beer hard to drink when not very cold. And cold beer dosen´t fit me. Leaves a acidic palate.

1.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20
Corny, sweetish aroma. Really bland, palate-sucking flavor. Well carbonated, yet heavy in the mouth. Wet grain bags, carrots and cooked vegetables. Awful aftertaste. It’s pretty bad.

1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
UPDATED: OCT 29, 2004 Bottle. Slightly bitter aroma with a hint of something unpleasant. Pale golden colour (lacks a glow). Completely white head - for the short period it lasts. Plain taste with no surprises. Almost no bitterness. I’m not impressed.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
A slightly better beer that Carlsbergs Lager, but I think it’s a matter of upbringing. Either you were brought up on Tuborg or Carlsberg in Copenhagen when I was young, and for me it was Tuborg.
