English: Tuborg Guld has always been attractive to lovely girls. As an example can it be said that at Gold-Girl was united with the marketing of Guld Tuborg already in the sixties. A beer with a sharp edge, which is characterized by its golden colour and its powerful taste. Cheers!

Aroma: Very little smell, some light acidity and bitterness.
Appearance: A light golden clear brew, a white or slightly off-white head, good lacing.
Taste: An upfront sweetness, pure sugar, a dash of lemon, rather good bitterness.
Palate: Medium carbonation, a bit coarse.
Overall: A standard euro (pale) lager.
Note: Bottle, at the SAS lounge at ARN. Reviewed 2010-07-25.

Tap @ Hard Rock Cafe Copenhagen. 171214.

Clear golden colour, small white head. Mild aroma. Better than carlsberg before this.

Tasted @ Copenhague Airport. Pale golden color with a minimal and quickly diminishing white head. Aroma is herbal with notes of straw. Flavor is very slightly sweet with notes of hay and straw. Watery final for this plane beer.

I want to rate this beer much higher. It is just your basic strong premium lager, but it has a huge place in my (and a lot of other danes) heart. It is not a bad beer by far. I regularly drink and enjoy it. But it will never be able to compete with craft beers when it comes to flavor and aroma.

Pours a golden color, clear, with quite some carbonation and medium white head that quickly diminishes. Basic malty aroma, some grassy notes in there too. Taste is sweet and malty, some grains, with mild bitterness in the end. Crisp, refreshing. Not bad at all.

Burk på 50årsfecka. Luktar metall och gräs. Smakar förjävligt. Varför är alltid dessa exportbira så jävla usla?

Standard grassy malt aroma. Actually not all bad. A mild grass straw taste, tingly malt, crisp. Maybe I got a fresh one?

Classic Danish ’luxe pils’ which became very popular in Belgium in the seventies but has lost much of its followers since then, at least in this country. Typical golden blonde with thinnish, snow white head; pale malts, light, one-dimensional with sharpish but brief, spicy hop bitterness in the finish. Okay but not worth the hype it experienced back in the seventies.
