COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Editor’s note: sold in the US as Tuborg Premium Lager.

English: Tuborg Guld has always been attractive to lovely girls. As an example can it be said that at Gold-Girl was united with the marketing of Guld Tuborg already in the sixties. A beer with a sharp edge, which is characterized by its golden colour and its powerful taste. Cheers!

Pours golden. Malty taste. Not worth the money. Better off getting a cheap micro beer and saving your money.

Appearance: clear pale straw with one finger of fluffy off-white head, moderate retention and patchy lacing. (3/5) Aroma: grainy malt, weedy grassy hops, wet cardboard. (4/10) Taste: moderate-high sweet, moderate bitter. (4/10) Palate: medium-light body, moderate carbonation, off-dry sweet and sticky finish. (2/5) A Turkish-brewed license of a Danish Beer? What could possibly go wrong? Yeah, it’s piss, but I was thirsty and it was literally the only thing in my work fridge that wasn’t 9% or 750ml - or both - and I have to drive. It quenched my thirst. If you find yourself needing it for the same reason, do yourself a favour and don’t let it warm up. Drink it fast and it’s not too bad. Well… OK, it is, but at least it’s over with faster. (And hey! Yet another beer with “Premium” on the label that, well, isn’t. This is fast becoming a truism.) (8/20)

Aroma of malt (notes of toastiness). Golden, clear, white short lasting head. Medium sweet, light bitter. Average carbonation, a bit watery texture, light body. Cool iconic label!

Denne guld Tuborg har et gyldent udseende med et medium hvidt skum. Øllen har en lidt maltet aroma og en sød afrunding med en smule bitterhed. Medium karbonering.

Can from 7/11 - pours gold with a white head. Aroma and taste is grassy and grainy, straw, carboard, light on the palate, medium to light in body, pretty sweet skunky finish. Not a fan.

Bottle at SAS Gold Lounge at CPH Airport. Clear golden with a large white head. Aroma and taste of bread, light butter and some metal. Thin and boring. Please, bring some Mikkeller to the lounge.

473ml can. Pours a big foamy bubbly white and has a yellowish straw coloured appearance. Weak lacing. Aromas are quite grainy and light wheaty notes. A bit of malts also. Flavours are also fairly malty and grainy with some subtle wheaty notes. Average bodied mouthfeel. Fair retention.

Can, 50cl. Pours golden with off-white, lasting and long-lacing crown-head. Shunky aroma. Grass, bread, hops, sweet hay and honey-like metal grains. Somewhat slight shunky and sweet taste with abrupt dry bitter finish. Oily texture. Medium+ body. Cult beer because of its marketing, drinking wise, not great nor interesting.

It has a very beautiful and lasting foam, and like its little brother (Tuborg Green) has a nice hoppy aroma. The taste is also most hoppy, but also a gentle malt flavor. You do sense that this is a strong beer, but alcohol characterizes not negative. This is basically a pretty good luxury beer with long lasting hop bitterness.
