3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Drink cold (8°C)
Eye: nice orange-brown colour with almost none-dissipating beige head
Nose: hops and malts at the same time. sour candy
Mouth: malts and hops, syrupy, some sort of candy. a little bit metallic
Palate: metallic after a while (when the beer gets warmer and drinking out of the can)
Overall: I just like this beer because of its tradition in Denmark. There are some importing companies all over Europe it seems.

Canned, BB 2011, gift from my niece years ago. Orange/brown colored, medium to small head, loads of tiny flakes that do not sink to the bottom of the glass. Lots of caramel in aroma, malts, molasses, Christmas pudding. Initially pretty sweet flavor, lots of caramel, later on more malts and bitterness, little bit of iron, pretty dry in finish. At 5 year old most likely way beyond its prime, but still pretty drinkable. What a surprise.

Can. 2012. First beer I had when I arrived in Copenhagen for my only ever white Christmas. Loved it. Probably not very good but I finally understood a Christmas beer and the value of that touch of spice.

From 33 cl can.
Aroma of cookies.Clear brown amber. Off-white head, tiny head lasting. Taste is a bit caramel sweetness and with some licorice. Finish is sweet. Watery texture. Light carbonation.

Aromen lite intetsägande. Smaken där emot är kraftig och kryddig. Lite jäst kanske.

2.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
Very much macro, with flavor toned down considerably across the board, this is still a good beer due to its interesting balance of malt and light spice, great sepia-toned appearance (and blue bottle), and clean finish (CPH)

500ml strange dark blue bottle from Torfyanovka, Russia, brewed at Baltika, st. Petersburg. Labeled as Christmas brew and with matching abv. so I’ll rate it here. Clear darkish amber colur, large rocky off-white head, lacing. Spicy moderately malty aroma of hay and nuts, moderate floral hops. Taste is initially balnced turning into a light bitter slightly roasted finish with a slightly alcoholic feel, full body, lively carbonation, oily texture. Tolerable bulk Winter beer with nothing too interesting nor wrong with it, still the first blue beer bottle I ever remember seeing.

Tap, can & bottle. Pours dark amber with a small white head. Taste is sweet and of malt, caramel, nuts and sugar. Not the most exciting Christmas beer but a classic nonetheless.
