Bottle. Pours hazy dark copper brown with negligible off-white head. Faint aroma of hops and malt, a little sour. Watery mouthfeel. Bottersweet taste of malt and caramel. Slightly dry finish. Needs re-rating as the bottle was significantly past the best before date.

Bottled (thanks Anna N!). Rubyish amber colour with a mediumsized beige head. Aroma is sweet malts, mild toffee, herbs and some mild strange notes. Flavour is sweet malts, some mild floral and bready notes with some mild toffeeish notes. A bit grainy in the aftertaste.

JanLaursen (2985) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JUL 31, 2012
Clear mahogony red brown with a white head. Aroma is sweet-malty with bread and caramel-accents. Flavor is much the same, rather simple and malty, with a light hop bitter finish. Not as remarkable as I rememebered if from the 90’es, but as stated below: The label is dope.

Rasmus40 (10578) - Beder, Aarhus, DENMARK - MAR 18, 2011
Clear red brown with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty and caramel. Flavor is quite sweet and light bitter. Soft with a light bitter finish. Before the craft beer revolution set in on the Danish market this was on of the better beers. Now it’s unremarkable. 250809

Dope label and great head on a crisp red ale. Stale malted nose. Crisp and strongly malty in the mouth. A strong carbonation.

Bottle, 33cl. Pours a reddish brown beer with a weak head. The aroma is malt and caramel. The flavor follows the nose. The palate is dry with some bitterness. Overall a good beer

larsga (6120) - Oslo, NORWAY - JUN 6, 2010
Medium offwhite head. Deep brownish red body. Roasty spicy aroma with faint coffee notes. Harmonic and delicate. Sweetish roasty metallic taste with cappucino and fruit notes. A bit watery. Light body. Dry grainy roasty aftertaste with rice pudding notes. With a bit more body this could be really nice. As it is it’s half-decent. (0.33l bottle, Super Spar, Vejby Strand.)
