Ungstrup (14724), Frederiksberg, Denmark Oct 8, 2002 A very light yellow beer with a fast disappearing head. It has a fresh slightly hoppy aroma. And a watery flat metallic slight bitter taste. Papsoe (14613), Frederiksberg, Denmark Aug 13, 2005 Updated: Oct 18, 2005(Can 33 cl) This is the original canned version from 2002. Very pale, almost clear with a fairly decent head. First flavour impression is water with beer flavour. This has less character than Budweiser or Corona. Second impression is simply foul - artificial and chemical. Avoid at all costs. 251002
(Bottle 33 cl) New version at 4,9% ABV. Pale golden with a pretty much absent head. No real aroma either. Weird sweetness that doesn’t seem to relate to the malt - as there isn’t really any malty feel. No hops either. Resembles beer but has a flavour of....nothing. But at least no unpleasantries or tangs - to it’s credit. 2/2/1/1/4=1,0 141005 omhper (12153), Stockholm, Sweden Dec 18, 2002 Canned. An absolutely fascinating beer. One can only imagine what went through the minds of the managers when they created this, my favourite to take the #1 position as the worst beer on RateBeer. The aroma is papery and revoltingly unclean. There is so much adjunct in there, but what is it? Garbage and re-cycled peas fermented for 20 minutes? Finishes gassy and leaves a flavour in you mouth very similar to the what you get when you’re having a stomach flu. However it lacks the infested burning rubber aroma of Stepan Razin Studencheskoye, so I’m kind and award it 0.6, which is extremely generous... yespr (11613), Copenhagen O, Denmark Aug 14, 2007 33 cL clear bottle. Pours yellow with a lacing white head. Grainy, slight off nose. Mild slight rainy flavour, no bitterness in the finish, same slight off note in the flavour. Bland. Oakes (8057), gone rambling, Vietnam Sep 4, 2009 Pale yellow. Clear. Some light fruity notes and a hint of straw-like malts. A little bit nutty in the finish. Pretty inoffensive as pale lagers go. fiulijn (7150), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy Feb 6, 2003 Can. Palepale blond color. Light soda aroma. The malt is so unexisting that the hop finds a way to appear. Very light, very poor. Emil (6075), Copenhagen, Denmark Jun 16, 2005 Bottle. Clear golden colour with a small white head. Hay metallic barnyard aroma and taste. Light body and a sweet hay finish. Maria (6056), Thisted, Denmark Feb 1, 2008 When I tasted this I tried not to be snobby, enthusiast or anything else but a high school girl that really doesn’t like beer. She likes the fact that this "beer" isn’t bitter and that it’s light and refreshing. It has clear notes of corn and it made her burp, but she tries to hide it. Life is marvellous: She is at an outdoor concert on a hot sunny day, and right there just a few meters from her, HE stands, he glances in her direction and smiles....
But then I looked in the mirror and saw a middel aged woman, and the truth be told, she didn’t like it...
I’m sure that the young people might like it though, and perhaps it could encourage them to try other and better beers in time....
