On tap. Dark reddish body, light brown head. Aroma of caramel and dark fruits with a hint of roastyness. Roasty taste with caramel and dark fruits. Oily mouthfeel. Really sweet doppelbock. I like it.

Strong but not tangy aroma is flavored with licorice and prune, two basic flavors of this beer. Appearance dark brown with light head. Malty, organic and strong taste with wide taste spectrum. Very noticeable flavors of prune and licorice. Thick, clear palate. Overall very good doppelbock with strong attitude.

Pours deep brown with reddish highlights and a tan head. Smell is dark fruit, caramel, molasses. Taste is prunes, molasses, toffee a touch of licorice ending tangy and a touch dry. Medium body and nice carbonation. This a=is a pretty nice dopplebock.

Clear mahogany with tan head. Sweet malty aroma with caramel and bready malt. Taste is sweet caramel, bread, fruit. Almost a barley wine. Medium body and carbonation. Sweet malty finish. Fantastc doppelbock.

0.5 L bottle, ordered from Vinmonopolet Nettbutikk. Crystal clear dark brownish red body. Low dense tanned head. Rich aroma, featuring dark tinned fruits and rounded sweet bready malts. Big malt body. Gently sweet, rounded bready and nutty. Dark fruits and mild bitterness down below. Full body. Soft and creamy in the mouth. Lingering malty-sweet ending. Top notch Doppelbock.

Bottle from Vinmonopolet, Kvadrat. Pours clear dark brown with a creamy thick off-white head. Aroma is malty heaven, dark fruits and roasted caramel, also some nice spicy elements. Taste is sweet malty,thick and oily, with some good roasted caramel and even liquorice at the long lasting finish. Me like a lot.

Bottle @ Home. Pours dark amber with a creamy offwhite head, leaving nice lacings. Aroma of sweet malt, caramel, sweet dark fruit, wood. Flavor is rich malty, caramel, dark fruits, wood, nuts, light booze. Medium body, smooth mouthfeel, soft carbonation, light warming alcohol in the finish. 020313

Bottle. Pours hazy dark amber with airy off-white head. Sweet aroma of malt and caramel. Sweet, creamy aroma of malt and caramel, ending on a coffeelike note. Really nice and dangerous.

Bottle shared with McTapps. Hopes were low after the last Bock disapoointments but a nice surprise hit our road. Malty, bit fruity, some coffee in the aroma. Delicious in a special way with a full body. Recommandable.

Deep ruby colour with first steady, then very low head and medium body. Nose of malt. Taste of strong alcohol but that is also quite fresh and ligth on the other side. Hints of roast, malt, nuts, licorice and butterscotch. It is definately a very Porter-like Doppelbock, because there are slight torf and coffee hints as well. Easy to drink, quaffable.
