Nice dark brown color. Medium carbonation. Mellow aroma of fresh baked bread, caramel, bit of yeast fruitiness. Nice balance of sweet and bitter (but on the sweeter end of things). Tastes of bread, caramel, nuts. A bit too much alcoholic bite, but good nonetheless.

22.10.2015. 0,5l Bottle. Dark brown, to black colour with tan head. Very rich beer with lots of malty flavours. Chocolate, cocoa and some sour notes of cold coffee. But its also sweet, at the same time that it is kind of dry. Very nice. Soft coffee notes. Low on bitterness. Very sift and mellow beer with very nice flavours of dark malts. Caramel, toffee and Red berries. Goooooooood!!!

Mørk brun med lavt skum. Lukter karamell, nøtter og lett kaffe. Søt karamell dominerer sammen med mørkt brød. God og tykk munnfølelse.

50 cl bottle. Great "Bierstube Gretchen" kind of label on the bottle, nice touch. Very clear deep reddish brown, delicate colour, thin tan head. Appearance is astonishing!! Aroma is a wonderful mix of roasted malt, dark bread, caramel, nuts and a hint of dark fruits. Taste is absolutely fantastic, all the aromas are doubling up, including plums and raisins. This is one of THE best beers I ever had (and that’s quite a lot...).

Frokost hos Gudmund. Klar kobberfarget kropp med et lyst tynt skumdekke. Karamell og alkohol dominerer aromaen men det er også fruktige tropiske noter. God fylde og litt alkovarme. Maltsødme med noe syrlighet i munnen.

Bottle 0,5l. Pours dark reddish color with a fair amount of head. Rich taste and aroma of caramel and malts which eventually leads to an abrupt and short aftertaste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A bright orange brown coloured beer with a thick and frothy beige coloured head. A light, roasted malt aroma, nutty and caramel, dark bread and a hint of spice. Medium-dry mouthfeel. The taste starts off with a smooth roasted malt flavour, all the elements from the aroma, caramel and bready, nutty and spicy, the spiciness brings in a sharp, boozy vinous taste that lingers on into a long finish. Bottle from Beers of Europe.

Clear, very deep brown to copper body with a beige, long-lived head that leaves some lacing before ending up as a partially covering film. Malty, sweet, rather vinous and strong aroma of dark caramel, malt extract, roasted malt, dark dried fruits. Strong flavour of sweet caramel, malt extract, roasted malt, and dark dried fruits. Port wine and hints of wood in the back. Full-bodied, oily and gently carbonated. Tasty!
