500ml Flasche.

Bottle. Amber, small and fully diminishing light brown head. Moderate, malty and sweetish aroma, some caramel and bread, light fruitiness and faint alcohol. Body is medium to full, malty and sweetish flavor, some caramel - light bread, faint fruitiness. Finish is short to average, malty and lightly sweetish, some caramel and light bread with light alcohol. Bit thin doppelbock with caramel - too much alcohol in the finish considering the body. Lacks character.

Very dark brown with lots of bubbles and a large beige head. The aroma is dark molasses and wheat malt. Medium palate/bite/mouthfeel. Its very smooth for its strength but a bit sweet for my tastes.

DAA; Pours dark brown with a frothy, fast deminishing off-white to tan head. Aroma is roasted malt and caramel with notes of coffe, dried fruit and metal. Taste is medium sweet, light spicy with a lasting warmth. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to avarage.

Bottle 50 cl, BBE 08/2014. Pours clear dark mahogny in color with a creamy tan head. Dark breadyness and dark sweet malty notes in aroma. Quite smooth mouthfeel. Dark fruity sweetness, light vinous notes and dark pumpernickelbready notes in taste. The smoothness and sweetness accompanied with the breadyness is just rightly balanced here. A top notch doppelbock.

Schön dunkelbraun-rote Farbe; schön dunkle, leicht dunkel-vergorene Note. Trockenpflaumen.

Alkohol skinner igennem. Lidt klistret, lang god eftersmag.

Half-litre bottle: looks great. BBD 3rd Mar 14, poured into an Abbot Ale glass tankard on 20th Dec 13. Lovely deep red hue to the ruby clear body, on top a blanket of foam, sadly it turned into a thin wisp and collar fairly swiftly: still looked good though. I love this style of beer: sweet and malty with just a little too much alcohol for it’s own good (and mine). Bajuvator sits right in the middle of this type: caramel notes dominate both the aroma and taste add plenty of chocolate and a sprinkling of toffee from the malty molasses. A rich fruit malt cake sort of feel from the start, good depth of flavours and most enjoyable. This doesn’t mess around: it’s malty sweet and alcoholic: if you are a hop monster it’ll leave you cold, however if sweet malts are your thing, buy a crate!

Bottle at home. Clear brown with a light brown head. Aroma heavy malty (caramel, roasted). Flavor medium+ sweet, light bitter. Medium+ body. Nice. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
